The 11th day was no different. I was playing with my food while the chair right opposite to me surprisingly empty today. All the commotion and noises told me from outside that yet again, my father and King Orion had attacked to rescue me. Perhaps it is not as easy for them as it was for me to accept the fact that I was to die in 4 days.
Why I had accepted my death?
This question could be answered and only understood by those who had once in their lifetime got the chance to live Theseus. Theseus may toy around with people's emotions but he never toys around with his promises........especially the ones that concern the Throne of Ionia.
Part of me wanted to just go out and yell at Dad to accept what was supposed to happen and tell that stupid excuse of a King to stop fueling Theseus's anger. I know I know Theseus was the bad guy and we are always supposed to support the good guys but.......I never was and still am not like those typical heroines who do not lay their weapons and then the villains fall in love with their courage.
I was a sensible human who knew that she was dealing with a creature from a different world and the villain of my story was never gonna fall in love with me.
'Good morning, Gorgeous.' Just then the villain entered the main breakfast hall, wiping his wet hands that probably had blood of soldiers on them earlier, with a cloth. I cared less to respond to him because he cared less about my response.
'Finish your meal then we are going out.' he said before starting his own meal.
'Not before an hour.' I declared and his eyebrows shot up on my slightly commanding tone.
'And may I ask why exactly you need an hour?' he asked, his voice more commanding than mine and it shattered the little confidence I had.
'I-I'm a human.....and my stomach aches if I go into water immediately after having food.' I honestly replied him.
He snorted and then resumed his meal after muttering a 'Pity' which was very much audible to me.

The moment I realized where he was taking me, I started struggling in his grip, to free myself and go away, far away from him. My efforts were not bothering him at all of course but they were annoying him.
'Oh come on now! Don't behave like the brat you are not!' he said in an amused tone and continued swimming with me towards the Depths of Death.
Fear was exploding like volcanoes in my heart as we reached the creak and Theseus began swimming inside. As darkness consumed me completely, I also closed my eyes, pretending to not see it at all.
Those sounds which I was hearing were now literally close to me. And I could feel big monsters and beasts swimming right beside me, their slippery or scaly skin rubbing with me time to time, disgusting me to the core.
The biggest pain for me was that I could not speak.
After what felt like eternity, our feet touched the bottom and gravity was much more stronger than the buoyant force here. After so much time, I dared to open my eyes and there was not complete darkness in here, things were slightly visible.
But what I saw made me question why things were slightly visible in here. The place was a raised platform which had four pillars on it. Beside all the pillars, broken and old skeletons were lying, it was clear to me that these were the skeletons of those who were exiled to this prison. The fact that some of them could be of children of Land and Sea, just like me, made me fear my own existence. Outside the periphery of the pillars, ugly and disgusting looking beasts and monsters stared directly at us.
I felt an urge to puke but suppressed it knowing that I was already in water. I was scared. Hell scared. So I turned my gaze to just look at the only beautiful thing in there- Theseus. He looked down at me and smiled wickedly on seeing the fear in my eyes.
He left my hand and started looking here and there for something while I looked back at the monsters in fear. When I looked back at Theseus, he had broken chains in his hands that were connected to all the four pillars . From his back I could not see his face but I knew that he was looking at them too intently.
The chains were broken and I knew that they were broken by Theseus only. This was his prison.
He dropped those chains again and then again began finding something. With his feet he scattered some bones here and there and then he found what he needed.
There was a plant grown on the ground, a kind of herb and he plucked it out.
He started walking towards me, crushing that herb in his hand.
'Here. Swallow it.' he said giving it to me and I looked at him, showing him my disgust over the herb.
'Did you not hear me?' he asked me in a commanding tone but I could've done anything but to swallow that thing. I gestured him that would puke if I eat that thing.
He rolled his eyes over me and in a blink of my eyes he was forcing me to swallow that by holding my jaw painfully. I tried alot but I couldn't fight him much and had to swallow it.
He left me after I swallowed it and said 'Now you can speak.'
I blinked three-four times and when I processed my throat's situation, I took in a deep breath, ready to scream but he immediately placed a hand over my mouth, so I screamed through his hand.
And once I was done, he just stayed like that for many moments, looking in my eyes and saying nothing.
He slowly removed his hand from my mouth and said in a low tone while still looking in my eyes 'Your eyes speak alot.'
'And what do they say?' I surprised myself by asking this question to him in a low tone.
He took my hand and turned to swim back while 'I don't know. They speak a language I am not familiar with.' While while we swam back through the darkness and I closed my eyes again, I also began thinking about the language my eyes speak to him.
