Stiles bowed his head angrily as he shivered in the cold air of the night, his breath not visible but teeth chattering away. He'd only now realized he forgot a jacket. The adrenaline rush of- just, everything leading up to wrapping his hands and arms around himself to grip his biceps in pure shivers. Ridiculous, stupid, rush, stupid one shoe athat wouldn't tie, stupid distraction. Stiles clenched his jaw with his eyes narrowed annoyed as he stepped into the apartment complex that seemed far to out of reach and far to industrial looking to think people actually lived there. But whatever.

Stiles, still shivering, strode off to the elevator, not! wanting to take like a be-jillion stairs to get up to Derek's mucky, dusty, lonely loft. But whatever. Stiles clicked the top floor button as the speaker rung in its usual tone and he pressed in the code. To him: random numbers, to Derek: the date of the day he felt the best he'd ever had, he really tried to surrounded himself with good thing, in however minuscule ways. He still tried. It wasn't much warmer in the elevator, granted warm, but not comforting, his teeth didn't chatter and the shivers died down a bit. But he's still cold. The bell rang signaling the elevator stopping to pick up some people. He sighed annoyed at the stop.

A bulky man stepped into the elevator as it stopped, he luged himself in and stiles shuffled to the side, glancing over at the man awkwardly. He's odd, tall, bulky, muscular, serious, and clearly not a talkative type at that. Also, stiles doesn't recognize him, of course he's not there enough to recognize many people, but in all aspects, he's new. And otherwise, just off. The energy at least. Stiles made a split second decision and dropped his hand to the elevators keypad again.

"Going down?~" he questioned almost in a sing song voice, clicking one before he could get any sort of disagreement. The man's eyes follow his fingers and sharpened on the moment he clicks the button, he turns back to the metallic door, staring without reason. The doors beeped open and stiles stepped out with a smile toward the man, his actions following as stiles turned out of the front doors and started toward his jeep. The man lingering a moment as he pulled himself in, then disappearing off to his own car, starting it as stiles pretended to check on something in his passenger seat. The cars off in a moment and he sighs.

God he does the stupidest things. Just for that he's even more late, and doesn't have a good excuse. Stiles repeats his earlier actions and clicks the top floor, pressing in the code and riding the elevator up to the lofts floor and sighing as he starts down the hall. Easily approaching the large metal door, gripping both hands on the handle and pulling it open. Thanks to a shower and immense scrubbing —he hopped— he didn't smell of Derek anymore. And seeing only angry or thankful faces rather then the looks he got from Scott before, he's happy to say he's all good. Except surprised to see Jackson in the room waiting as well.

"Your late." Derek snapped instantly and stiles was taken a back by the attitude he had. Stiles face showed his surprise before he glared and answered.

"Jeep stalled. Sorry to be of inconvenience." He instantly looked away from Derek before he new his cheeks would grow red and his mind would fill with images and scent would blur with arousal.

"Stiles," Scott was speaking and stepping closer quickly. "Dude it's freezing outside." He closened and rubbed his hands up and down on the other teens shoulder hoping to warm him slightly.
