Yagi Inko lies on the hospital bed, her long moss-green hair sprawled out on the pillow as she screams loudly. Her light-blue hospital gown stuck to her skin as she screamed and grunted more. The nurse in front of her spread legs and exposed gown trying her best to smooth her as she pushed harder.
"That's it Yagi-san," the nurse said, her blue mask moving as she spoke, her wide aquamarine eyes giving the soon-to-be-mother an encouraging look. "I can see the head of your son. You are doing wonderfully."
Inko screamed more as she finally got her son out, trying to calm down her heart. She breathed in and out quickly, her heart racing. The monitor attached to her showed her blood pressure getting higher and higher. Her husband, Toshinori, saw this and told the doctor with panic, "Something seems wrong nurse! Her blood pressure is rising fast!"
The nurse, who was holding a very pale baby in her arms, ushered the husband out of the room. She rang a buzzer in the room, sending a distress call for more doctors to come into the room. Grabbing a baby blanket, the nurse wrapped the child in the soft cloth and set him down as he stayed scarily silent.
Toshinori was scared, scared for his wife, scared for his son, scared for everything. He had heard about females dying in childbirth, it was mostly from severe bleeding because of postpartum hemorrhage, infections because of chorioamnionitis, or in very rare cases, postpartum preeclampsia, when the symptoms of preeclampsia don't start until a woman delivers her child.
His concern skyrocketed when more doctors rushed into the room, the nurse from before screaming about how her blood pressure was rising at an extreme rate. The blond man couldn't hear any baby-like cries either, making him fear for the worst, his wife and son dying on the same day.

The nurse and doctors stepped out of the room, the doctors leaving to go and do other things around the hospital. Her expression had sadness and despair in it, Toshinori's concern rising higher and higher.
"Nurse, what happened? Are my wife and son alright?" The blond, skinny man asked the melancholic nurse, her head raising at the words the husband asked her.
The nurse contemplated if she should answer the man's questions, having known what the reaction would be. She had seen it many times before this very moment. Her very first delivery of a woman in labor had ended this exact way, making her have to decide whether to break the news to him or not, but this was important, so she had to.
"Yagi-san," she paused, her voice full of despair. "Your wife, Inko, has passed away during childbirth. Her heart rate had gotten too high during delivery and she had died afterward. But, your son is thankfully alive, but he has a strange appearance, most likely from his quirk. He came out as an albino, snow-white hair and skin, with his eyes having black sclera and white iris', along with a blue tongue and strangely a small hole where his heart should be. Besides those things, the baby is very healthy, even if he didn't cry like a normal infant once born." The nurse then handed Toshinori the small albino child, the last thing ever done by his wife.
Toshinori held onto the child, looking at the snow-white skin and hair of the now sleeping baby. Crystal tears started to roll down his cheeks as he watched the infant sleep, knowing his wife gave up her life for this child, the child he helped make, the child now in his arms, wrapped in a soft baby blanket sleeping like nothing happened.
"I-Inko...," Toshinori wailed in misery, tears dripping down and onto the child in his arms and onto the ground in a drip. "H-How c-could this h-happen?" He cried to the heavens above, hoping his wife was now watching him cry for her return, but it went to no avail. Inko, his beloved wife, was gone and left this child in her place.
"Yagi-san, I understand that you feel great loss for the passing of your wife, but we need to know what you will name the boy," the nurse touched his shoulder, head looking down to the sleeping child in the skinny man's arms.
"Izuku. My wife wanted to name our son Izuku. So I will honor her wish and name him for my wife," the blond answered the nurse, now looking forward with the child in hand. He was going to make the best out of this situation, for his wife, Izuku and himself.

Izuku sat at his desk in the preschool, a book in his small snowy hands. The table he sat at was empty except for him, the other three small chairs left bare and scooted under the table. Kids at the school didn't really like him, mainly for his black sclera and white iris', especially Bakugo and Todoroki.
Speaking of the other two toddlers, they both walked up the table he sat at from the small play area of the preschool. Bakugo's red eyes glared at him, clear disgust on his face when he glared at Izuku. Todoroki next to him had a blank expression, but distaste as clear as a clean mirror in his gray and turquoise eyes.
"What are you doing Deku? Sitting here by yourself, reading a book alone, perfect for a freak like you!" The blonde boy of the two taunted, laughing and pointing at the albino boy like a king would to a lowly peasant who was begging for money.
Izuku didn't bother to answer the older boy, continuing to read his book at the table. Bakugo's little ego got hurt by this, a freak was ignoring him! The future Number One hero! His hand clenched into a fist, then suddenly collided with his face.
Todoroki continued to have a blank look as he and Bakugo watched Izuku fall from his chair and onto the floor with a hard thud. The two waited for the other to get up, but a small pool of blood was starting to form around his head.
Everyone in the room went silent at the hard sound of something hitting the floor, the teachers went over to the table where Bakugo and Todoroki stood above Izuku's unconscious body laying on the wood ground in a small puddle of blood under his snow-white hair, turning his hair crimson.
"Katsuki-kun, Shoto-kun, what happened to Izuku-kun?" One of the teachers who went over to them asked, her arms holding the albino child, trying to stop the bleeding coming from his head.
"I only showed Deku where he belongs for not answering me," Bakugo snorted, glaring at the unconscious Izuku in the female teacher's arms.
The male teacher told him he did the right thing, since the boy was quirkless. The quirkless were below others with a quirk, and shouldn't be treated the way quirked people should be. The female teacher protested how that thinking was wrong, people are people and they can't control what quirk they have, or even if they have a quirk.
"But anyway, I will call a hospital to send an ambulance to get him, along with his father."
