十四: The One Thing To Acquire More Power

(Guess what y'all, I'm not dead :). I just forgot about this story for however long the last chapter was published. I've been busy preparing for Furina's rerun, which happened to be on my birthday. I hope none of y'all beloved I died a very horrible death or something, I forget to do shit sometimes because I have the touch of the 'Tism and ADHD. But anyway, here is a new chapter and happy Pride Month y'all! 🏳️‍🌈 The song at the top is Bitter Chocolate Decoration, the Nightcore at 25 cover and has jackshit to do with this chapter!)

All Might walked around the campus looking for his son, believing if they would just talk things out, that they could be a family again. Even if that chance is low, there is still a chance that exists. He just needed to find his son first and talk to him. But where would he be exactly?

The blonde continues to walk around the campus of U.A, trying to find his albino son inside the school campus. He might not exactly know where he is, but that doesn't mean he couldn't ask around. All Might had come across Cementoss and asked him, "Do you know where Zangetsu is? I've been looking for him for a little bit and I need to talk with him for a bit."

Cementoss turns to the other hero to reply, "I believe he is in Gym Gamma with Togata, Hado, and Amajiki. When I saw him going over there, he didn't look like he was in the greatest mood, so I wouldn't try to anger him at the moment. Most of the staff know he does not have the largest of fuses when in a mood like he is at the moment." The cement hero shuddered, remembering the last time someone had made the albino's fuse snap. It certainly wasn't easy to clean up what happened afterwards.

"I'll take that into consideration, my friend!" All Might said with a hardy chuckle, patted the other's shoulder and started heading towards the direction of Gym Gamma, unaware of just why Zangetsu would be in the mood that he is in.

Meanwhile, inside of Gym Gamma, a set of two white blades fell to the ground, and their owner along with them. On his knees, Zangetsu cried out in pain, his hands on the sides of his head with a harsh grip at his hair. The sound coming out of his mouth wasn't one of a human in pain, it was more akin to a monsterous cry.

Togata and Hado were the closest people to the albino, so they tried to ask him what was wrong and if he had needed anything. Amajiki stayed exactly where he was, at the wall, frozen from the kind of sounds Zangetsu was making. Those screams sounded similar to the ones he heard at night, but he would ask about that later.

Hado went to get a medkit, almost knocking into All Might as he walked into the gym. "Sorry All Might, I have to get a medkit!" She then used her quirk to get said medkit faster, leaving the blond hero confused on why she needed it until he turned and saw Zangetsu on the ground, shrieking in pain as something started to grow from the right side of his head. White spirit particles formed around that side of his head, forming into a shape exactly like the black horn of the left side of his head. He was gaining another horn, one exactly like the already existing one.

The white spirit particles eventually formed into a large, forward-pointing horn exactly like its twin. Once the horn fully formed, a large surplus of  spirit energy surrounded Zangetsu, the energy denser than it had ever been before, and the color going from a bright crimson to a lush purple color.

"What's happening to him!?" All Might shouted, a flash of concern on his face, the first time he has ever been concerned for his son since his birth. "How did this happen?!"

Togata, the closest of the Big Three to the hero, shouted back in response, "We don't know! Me and Zangetsu were just sparring before he started saying how the side of his head hurt. He also said something about 'regaining what was lost' before he started all this!"

The purple spiritual energy then disappears suddenly, and the owner of the energy fell out of consciousness from the strain his body had felt from growing the second horn on his head, the now pair standing out from his pure white hair, skin and clothes. Hado then came back with a med kit, running towards Zangetsu to check for any injuries, which he appeared to have none.

"We need to take him to Recovery Girl, I don't think growing horns on your head is normal, or passing out suddenly," Hado said as she used her quirk to bring the albino's unconscious body with her, All Might, Togata and a still shaken Amajiki following behind her. Nobody noticed how Amajiki looked shaken to his core, his expression looking like he had seen a ghost. He wished he could talk to Togata and Hado about the shrieking Zangetsu had made, sounding exactly like the sounds he would hear at night, but he felt like now was not the time and kept to himself.
