"YOU GUYS!!"

I squealed in delight when I saw what Aphmau and Kiki had done for me. Despite Levin already being a few weeks old, they decided to throw a baby shower for the two of us. Though there weren't a lot of women I knew in the village, the ones I cared about were here, and that's all that mattered. There were gifts for both Levin and myself, diamonds as well as toys and clothes for the baby; whom I've been bringing everywhere. I had already bought some baby stuff off of Zoey the other day, whom I had hit it off with ever since. I haven't been this happy in the longest time, it was very.. refreshing, and this was something that I needed after coming back from war.

"Oh my Irene! He really is adorable!" Donna and Aphmau cooed at Levin on either side of me, and I snorted at the noises coming from them and the faces they were making. Aphmau had helped the most, helping me set up my house for a baby and giving me a lot of diamonds.. not only that, but she's also been an amazing auntie overall. Since she's been so helpful, of course I was planning on letting her be an auntie! I mean, the others could be too.. growing up in a village, especially one so small as Phoenix Drop; You're bound to have aunties and uncles all over, despite having no blood ties.

"I've always wanted kids.. this is like.." I rolled my eyes and looked through my mental memory for the right word, my eyes landed back on Levin when it comes to mind, "I'd say it's a blessing, especially seeing that there were tons of doors he could've been left at." I grinned at my female friends, who nodded in agreement.

The rest of the festivities were spent opening gifts, chatting with all who came and then cleaning up. Zoey insisted on doing it for us, and both me and Aphmau wanted to bring the baby around town, as well as move all the stuff into my house; so, we decided on letting Zoey handle it, with much words of thanks.

"I don't know how many times I'm going to say it, but the village looks so alive.. every time I walk out and about it's like I'm in a whole new village." My eyes once again shifted all over the place, admiring the fairy lights that decorated the houses and light posts. Aphmau laughed at my face every time as well, having been with me nearly every moment since the two of us had met. We made it to the plaza, where there were a few people, including a new woman they made note of.

"Logan!?" I exclaimed suddenly, both myself and Aphmau shushing and worriedly looking at Levin to make sure he was still asleep. Once we both made sure he was, we sighed in relief and turned our attention toward the blonde merchant whose eyes lit up in recognition at my face.

"Well, well. If it isn't the Wraith." He picked fun at the name, and I cackled before smacking him on the back playfully, Logan sparing a smirk and a low chuckle himself.
