Gehizo hadn't even realized Giovonee talking this entire time. Her flashbacks came to an abrupt stop, hearing her sister rambling about how she didn't mean what she just said. But after talking to Jahseh herself, Gehizo knew it was all a lie. Her sister was a terrible liar, to say the least.

Gehizo sighed, rubbing her hand against her temple.
"Honestly, I don't care. Just don't act like you're telling the whole neighborhood next time.", she spoke in frustration.

The next thing the girl did was turn around, putting her hand on the doorknob. "Some of us have real problems to worry about."

Giovonne, unable to say a word watched as the girl side-eyeing her slammed the door shut. Her sobbing slowly came to a calm. Now all that was left felt like pure bitterness. Giovonee was sad, again. Her eyes trailed towards the window and took a glance at what the atmosphere looked like. It had gotten darker, and as the sun set, so did that solemn feeling in her chest.

This wasn't the first time jealousy had paid its visits, but it was the first time she felt some way about it. For some reason, she felt threatened. Intimidated in a way she couldn't explain... but what she did know was, she didn't like what just happened earlier that day at all.

Giovonee chose to suck it up. She wiped her face, sniffling no more as she dried her tears. For once, Jahseh had actually made her sad. The boy who used to be her pure joy, started to make her feel down. Confused, and frustrated, she couldn't even describe the feeling of it all. Things were starting to get
complicated and it had just begun.

Out of the blue, Giovonee's phone buzzed. She chose to ignore it, but then it happened again, and again, and again. She huffed and snatched her phone from the comforters on her bed.

"New message from Jahseh😔" 12s

"New message from Jahseh😔" 1min

Giovonee contemplated thoroughly. In her head, her phone was already in her hand. She might as well open it. And maybe, she should just see what he had to say. She didn't have to reply, she didn't have to ponder on it, but she was curious. She said all these things in the back of her head yet was still so eager to open his messages.

"I'm sorry if I said anything out the way."

"I know you're upset, but I would never wanna hurt your feelings. I can make it all up to you."

"Let me know what no one's home."
20s ago

Giovonee bit down on her lip and contemplated whether or not she should give in. She knew if she didn't take up on the offer then it'd be lingering in her brain all day. She checked to see how much time she had before her dad came home, and luckily she had a good three hours to spare. She thought about how long it'd take Jahseh to be on his way, a good 20 minutes wouldn't hurt.

Giovonee sat crisscrossed apple sauce as she typed away on her phone. "Ok."

The second her finger hit "Deliver", she jumped out of bed and went straight for the bedroom door. The plan was to see when Giovonee would be occupied. Was she leaving for the night? Going to sleep? Usually, Giovonee would be leaving for the night after a certain period, and lately, she hadn't been out of the house in a little minute.
