Jahseh didn't know whether he should just leave or go back inside. By the look of Gehizo's face, it seemed as if she'd been "caught" too. When Jahseh heard Michael ask "What's wrong?" he took his chances and quickly returned. Even with the door locked, he still felt his heart pounding. His first initial thought was to head for the window.
In a million years he would've never imagined getting caught. Michael would possibly be blowing up his phone by tomorrow asking what happened, most importantly why he was there. The worst thing Gehizo could do was tell somebody Giovonee and Jahseh were fucking each other. They really weren't, but it'd only be something Gehizo would do.
Making sure to be completely quiet, he walked around the room to gather his belongings. The thoughts roaming through wondered how he couldn't have gotten caught earlier if they were here all along. As soon as Jahseh's foot was nearly dangling out the window, he heard a familiar voice sleepily ask "Where you going, Jah?".
"Goddamnit.", he lowly cursed himself.
Jahseh closed the window before turning around, looking over.
"You're up? You barely even slept."
He put on a grin in the midst of walking over towards her side of the bed, assuming Giovonee woke up cause he wasn't in bed just as he was before. She looked as if she felt better than before. Jahseh was grateful for that, just not the fact he cut her nap incredibly short knowing she needed a little break. Giovonee looked up at him while he looked down at her. Her left hand pointed down towards her stomach and whined out, "My tummy hurts".
That explains it. He didn't really wanna help her ALTHOUGH he did want to get the fuck outta there. They could still make it quick. Right? He took his hands and raised up her shirt, sitting down beside to eventually pull her waist in his lap afterward.
"After this JahJah has to go though, okay?", he reassured.
Giovonee's face dropped, looking down at him with puppy eyes. He'd just gotten here a couple of hours ago. In her head, she thought she did something wrong. After that whole discussion...he was just gonna leave her like that?
"Why?"
Having a set of warm hands on her stomach felt so good at the moment.
They rubbed in circles, going over her sides. Her pain almost instantly melted away. Meanwhile, Jahseh hummed to himself and focused on keeping his hands moving, taking in her figure as well. The plaid skirt she wore looked nice on her."You look good today."
The sound of Jahseh's compliment made her smile. It was something pleasant to hear, but the fact he denied her question worried her, driving her to believe there must've actually been something she had done. Her smile faded.
"Jahseh why are you leaving?", she asked a second time.
Jahseh, quick with his lies told the girl "My little brother had an allergic reaction. That's all."
Giovonee only nodded, sitting there for no longer than a couple seconds after hearing his statement. Jahseh furrowed his eyebrows as he watched her, clueless as to why she'd pull away.
"Sorry for holding you up, you should go check on him."
A grin slightly spread across her face once more. The confusion still welled inside her head. She didn't know what she was perceiving at the moment, but she didn't care for it. It made her wanna plead him to stay, it made sense supposing she just poured all her problems inside their discussion from earlier.
Giovonee watched him stand up, his shirtless torso flexing awhile he did so. She didn't know she'd been staring till could be heard from above.
"Close the window for me, Gigi."
"Gigi?"
"You'd rather me call you gigi than call you something ugly like buttercup right?"
"Yea..."
I
t took some begging for Gehizo to do, but she finally got her father to take the family to a diner. She picked it herself. Gehizo didn't care to tell Giovonee about the place and Giovonee didn't bother to debate either. She knew a big scene would be brought about, which is why she sat in the back silently. They never got to go anywhere anyway.
The only thing on her mind was Jahseh. Jahseh everything. What could she have possibly done wrong?
Did their little talk intimidate him or something?
He didn't even care enough to stay.Soon she started to consider his brother actually having an allergic reaction. If Giovonee's little brother went through such a thing she'd do the same too. Maybe, just maybe it wasn't her. When she'd have a reason to believe then she surely would.
That time hadn't come yet. Therefore she had no option but to continue and try to convince herself. No opportunity to spare in understanding what her sister was talking about the entire time there, she was worried. Tears of frustration threatened to slip at any moment.
Eventually, the car came to a stop. They were finally there.
I'm sorry for not updating much, my laptop is broken and it's hard to type with nails. HOPEFULLY, I get it back soon
