JISOO'S POV

I was supposed to meet Soojoo today and Jennie was going to her day out with Lisa

I told her to meet me at a nearby café near my house I don't want to go far as I was going to go to Jennie's place for a movie night with her Chae and Lisa

I reached the café and waited for Soojoo

She arrived 5 minutes later

"Jisoo, how are you?" she went ahead and hugged me before I could even say anything

"I am fine, how are you?" I said as we were still hugging. It felt good to meet her after so long

I felt someone staring at me, I shrugged it off and decided to have a good time with Soojoo.

"So, tell me about everything, we have so much to catchup on" she said as we took our seats

"I have a girlfriend who I am pretty much in love with and to make it more real I met her two months ago" I said in one breath as I was quite nervous cause I don't normally talk about my partners to anyone not even Chae

As I've said before I don't like to bother people with my emotions

But knowing Soojoo it her way or no way I have to respond to whatever she asks

"Are you kidding????" she held my hand and continued "I am so happy for you"

I was about to respond when she spoke again

"Wait the fuck up, did you say 2months?" I just nodded to her enthusiasm as she held my hands tighter.

I felt someone staring at me AGAIN

I decided to turn around and have a look but Soojoo spoke again

"You this thing that you said to me makes me happy more than you" she said with a wide smile on her face

"For now, were still in the early stages of our relationship but I feels real from the very first day" I said blushing at my statement

"You fell pretty hard, didn't you?" I nodded and she grinned and continued "I've always wanted you to feel that way you deserve so much more and this girlfriend of yours seems pretty good for you to be blushing while talking about her" I just blushed more to her statement

She continued

"You know for the Jisoo I knew she never blushed even if I gave you a compliment, you've changed for good I like this you better the vulnerable one" as soon as she said that my body stiffened and eyes went wide.

She looked at me face and said, "don't tell me you still didn't open up to her about yourself?" I was too ashamed to speak so just nodded no

"You know the reason we broke up right?" she said

"Yea you didn't know me enough even after dating me for a year" I said with a small smile

"see there you know it, you know it was not just you not opening up its was also you getting defensive whenever I asked about anything to you" she said caressing the back of my hand "I am not guilt tripping you I am telling you what you did wrong so you could change this and give your girlfriend a chance, we were never meant to be but the look that you have on your face when you told me about her you love her way too much, don't give up" she said in a calm voice

"I am trying it's not like she's demanding to know me or anything I tell her things at my own pace I told her about my moms and uncle she was pretty happy when I said" I said with my head hung low with embarrassment of not doing enough
