Nathalie shuddered and pressed herself firmer against him, her grip narrowing as she took a sharp breath.
"Stop it!" She croaked, feeling quite embarrassed for showing a way too strong reaction to that.
He didn't. Quite the opposite. Gabriel stayed in this position and placed a couple of light kisses along her neck and her jaw, all the way to the corner of her mouth. Chuckling tenderly, he then took her hand and pulled her through the gate and towards the terminal, where his private jet was waiting. He had considered travelling first class in a regular flight again but after it had taken so much effort to make Nathalie feel comfortable in their actual situation, he had called for his own pilot and given him all necessary instructions.
Somehow he had had a gut feeling that his new wife was about to do something as she just tried to do.
As soon as they had taken off and were allowed to unfasten their seatbelts, the co-pilot had brought them the beverages Gabriel had asked for and had then left them alone.
Nathalie, who had been avoiding his gaze since the incident at the airport, still kept staring out of the window into the quickly approaching night sky. She didn't even notice him, as he sat down beside her and observed her for some time.
Only when he reached for her hand to lift it to his lips and place a gentle kiss on the back, she winced and turned her head to face him.
"Forgive me, dear. I didn't mean to scare you." He snickered.
"It wasn't your fault. I was lost in my thoughts and didn't know you had come here. I'm the one who should apologise, because I complicate everything with my irrational fears and doubts. The way I acted right before we went into the aeroplane, I... it was just pathetic!" Nathalie shook her head, disappointed in herself.
"Huh? Why's that, love? What 'did' you do?"
"Oh please, don't pretend to not have noticed! The way I...", she took a deep breath, shaking her head while turning her face so she was looking at the floor. Muttering so quietly, that he had to bent down to understand, she continued,
"The way I reacted to only a few, innocent kisses, was just humiliating. I mean, I was the one who said, we had been intimate way too soon, yet only a moment later I... I would have wanted to... right there and with everybody watching... I..."
She had herself worked up so much that she was gasping for air. With a frown, Gabriel pulled the woman he had fallen so hard for, into his arms at first, then lifted her into his lap.
Of course Nathalie tried in an instant to get off of him and back into her seat, but his grip around her was strong and made her angrily hiss,
"Would you please let go? I just told you, how bad it made me feel to respond the way I did, and you think doing 'this' would actually help? You're absolutely delusional, Gabriel!"
"Shush!" he placed a finger on her lips as he whispered that. "Just relax and enjoy the remaining alone time. Didn't you tell me, you'd love that. A lot?"
"Stop it! I sound nothing like that!" Nathalie shouted, then flinched and gave him an apologetic look. "Sorry, I still feel just so overwhelmed. My heart and my body want to do a lot of things with you, but my brain keeps reminding me of every little consequence that comes with those things. And on top of that, you suggested that we would stay married until the end of the month, before I make a final decision. It's the fricking third today!"
"Oh really?" He asked innocently. "I wouldn't have thought so. Just stop worrying and show me what you had in mind when you told me you'd like to go a little further than what we did over those last days. Please?"
Gabriel tried his best to give her the saddest puppy-eye glare.
"Oh Gabriel, I'm begging you. Don't look at me like that. It's so creepy, when you try to look cute. Okay, fine, you've won. I won't start anything, but I'll stay right here, okay?"
That caused him to grin.
"So, uhm, if you say 'you' won't start anything, does that also mean, you're fine with me, starting something?"
Without letting her answer he grabbed the back of her head and pulled her into a devouring kiss, his free hand grabbing her buttocks and turning her towards him.
Nathalie gasped, becoming aware that she was straddling his lap and tried to bring a little distance in between them, especially their most intimate areas. But Gabriel scooted down in his seat and brought them into an almost lying position and by that he pressed her crotch firmly against his growing erection.
He knew she didn't arch her back on purpose, but she did and by that caused some friction right where he needed it and he moaned,
"Oh fuck, Nathalie!"
He held his breath, scared that she would be repulsed and would try to stop right away, but he was so wrong. Hearing him, the way he had said her name, made her lady parts cringe and her nipples erect.
Pushing her butt down on him, she wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, deepening the kiss as she did to soon feel his hardened member rub along her slit and whimpered desperately into his mouth.
Gabriel pulled back with wide eyes, but smiled and cupped her face, his thumb caressing her cheek as he remembered what he had wanted to do and so he inhaled deeply to, without doing a lot of explanation or anything, tell his wife in a deep and calm tone,
"I love you, Nathalie!"
Her jaw dropped and her eyes once more filled instantaneously with tears. Yet she managed to react without panicking or trying to get up and pretend nothing had happened.
"I... I l-love you t-too!" she stammered. "But I still would like to keep the option to have this marriage annulled if anything goes wrong. Don't look at me like that! I was talking about consequences for you or Adrien or all the people depending on your success because they work for you. If this becomes public and has an influence on any of those factors, there can only be one right decision, Gabriel."
"If I asked you for one favour, Nathalie, would you try to do it?"
She shrugged, but nodded.
"If I can!"
"Good. Stop thinking and start feeling. And then either shut that mouth or use it to kiss me! I won't listen to one more word about our future life until we both had at least a small glimpse at what we're to expect!"
She was just opening her mouth to give a cocky reply when he shook his head and pointed at his lips.
"Kiss me or keep your mouth shut!" he demanded and Nathalie as usually obeyed.
