Life is like a gamble. The chances of things that can happen to you can be either good or bad, depending on your luck.
If you were to have good luck, then you'd have a pretty great life with tons of privileges and opportunities.
If you were to have bad luck, things would go downhill, and could continue to do so. Causing sadness and despair.
Y/n's life was a combination of both. She never knew what to expect, but she knew that it was going to either have good chances of becoming better or have bad chances and get far worse.
The only difference was that she had no luck. No good or bad, just no luck whatsoever.
Without any luck, there wasn't anything to bet on.
So, why gamble at all?
Why did Y/n not choose to stay at the hospital?
Why did she not just ignore the stalker?
Why did she run after him?
Simple, it was because even though she didn't know what to expect... she took a chance at it.
Cause even though you don't know what will happen, risks and chances are the reason why people gamble on things. For both the thrill and excitement.
So for her to see a possibility of doing something for the better, being both unpredictable and risky it was, she knew that she had to take a chance at it.
They say that it's not the destination but the journey, along with the people you came with, however, this time, the destination did matter.
After all, the Hoshiakari family was on a schedule.

"None at all. Plus, I'm not playing a lead role this time, so I'm just going to do what I can to make sure that can support the lead."
