Tsunami POV:
"Odio el clase de español (I hate spanish class)" Tsunami whispered to Riptide, her boyfriend, crossing her arms.
"Yo también, pero no deberíamos estar hablando de cómo lo odiamos cuando estamos literalmente en clase de español. (Me too, but we shouldn't be talking about how we hate it when we're literally in Spanish class)" He replied to the girl glaring at him.
"Riptide, por favor, sal afuera. Estaré allí en un minuto para hablar contigo en privado. (Riptide, please, go outside. I'll be there in a minute to talk to you privately.)" Their professor, Mr. Webs, stared at Tsunami's boyfriend. He kicked Tsunami gently as he got up and walked outside of the classroom.

"Tsunami!" Riptide yelled after Tsunami as she rushed to the lunch meeting place.
"Yes?" She stopped and turned around putting her hands on her hips.
"After school you and I have to head to detention!"
"Seriously! It's the first day of school!" she said, and continued walking.
"That's exactly what I said to Mr. Webs! But did he listen? No!" The two headed to a shaded hill that was behind the school where not many students go. Last year Deathbringer found it, he said he was just strolling but Glory said he was stalking another student, which of course he denies...untruthfully.
"Jello!" Riptide shouted! Because it was behind the school and their friend group was super big, no other students ventured behind the building, nor did many teachers so they could be as loud as they pleased! Tsunami spotted Clay talking to Peril and Sunny, most likely about food, because both girls looked bored. Kinkajou and Boto, who were freshmen, were with Glory taking naps. Starflight and Fatespeaker were reading, well Starflight was but Fatespeaker wasn't because she kept looking at him...and her book was upside down. Moon was reading as well, with Qibli and Winter sitting around glaring at each other. Anemone was sitting on a rock talking to Tamarin with Pike who was looking off into the distance, all were freshmen. Riptide headed over to Deathbringer who was sitting near napping Glory, Tsunami decided to follow.
"Ask her out," Riptide nudged Deathbringer as he sat down .
"No," he said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world, "we're already a thing, so I don't need to".
"A 'Thing'?" Tsunami questioned.
"Yes," he said proudly.
"When did that happen?" She crossed her arms.
"During the summer!"
"Oh, you're such a bad liar Deathbringer!" Glory raised her voice, "We were never a thing, nor will we ever."
"Unless you just can't help yourself to say that your boyfriend is the hottest boy in this whole high school, so you say yes" he said with a smug expression on his face.
"Keep dreaming" Glory rolled onto her stomach while putting her chin on the palm of her hand to support her head. "Well putting that behind, this kid here, looking at Deathbringer, "Already got detention, on the first day of school".
"Is that so!" Tsunami replied.
"Hehe," Riptide laughed, "I guess we wont be alone then", glancing at Tsunami.
"What-!" Glory said.
"Ya...Mr. Webs caught us talking in Spanish class."
"More like you!" Tsunami argued.
"You started it!" he argued back.
"How are you two in love?" Glory mumbled rolling her eyes.
