I ran to the Pier as fast as I could nearly tripping several times. God please let macaque still be there. I continued to run before getting to the pier seeing him sat on the edge with his shoes next to him and feet in the water. I went and sat next to him. He looked at me before looking away. I only stared at him. "How could you forgive me?" He asked. I turned to look at the water then took off my socks and shoes putting my feet into the water as well. "Because... I missed you. I'll admit I dont like well- you but, I want my best friend back." I looked at him and he glanced back at me, Then suddenly threw himself on me. He was hugging me tightly. I paused feeling his arms around me.

"Why are you hugging me..?" I asked him. He stayed silent before I started to feel him shake. I looked at him but hugged back hoping it would have calmed him down. Newsflash it didn't. She started crying in my arms. He hiccuped and sobbed. The same little boy that loved to sit next to me and laughed when ever I said a joke. The same boy that died years ago. I held him tightly as he hiccuped and sobbed. "I've miss you, so so much. I didn't think what the effects would have on me leaving.." he sobbing. I was thinking, why was he apologizing now?

I felt bad and hugged him back burying my head in his shoulder, it was my way of trying to comfort him. His grip became tighter as he grabbed the back of my shirt. We sat there, hugging eachother until he finally calmed down. He looked at me eyes still teary. I looked at him, then held his shoulders. "How could you forgive me..?" He sniffled before moving his hand to wipe his face. I looked at him, before sighing and looking away. "Your not my old best friend" I said, pausing mid sentence. "But I dont want to lose you again." I said looking at him. He only shook his head.

"You shouldn't forgive me. I've hurt you so badly, how could you ever forgive me?' he said. I repeated my words. He paused before nodding, I'm assuming he understood it. "I've missed you so, so much" he said, Still not looking me in the eyes. He was looking at the water as it flowed and waved. I looked at him, the took a deep breath. "Your Macaque, not lui'er. But, I'm not losing my best friend again. I'll try and warm up to you." I said. He looked at me before wiping his face again. "Yeah, it may take sometime. Im sorry for being a jack ass idiot." He hiccuped. "Lady would kill me if I failed this mission." He said. I looked at him.

She had a mission? What the hell does that mean? I was confused. "What mission?" I asked. He sighed pulling his feet out of the water. "She wants me to get you to date her for her popularity. She also just has a stupid huge crush on you. I'm trying to avoid that from happening because I know the real you. If I fail she'll either hurt me or us both." He said. I sat there in pure shock. She was doing what? That stupid ass queen bee is going to get a fucking beating. "I wont, I cant let her hurt you." He said. "Oh please, like that sewer rat is gonna do anything." I said proudly. He started to smile and made a small laugh repeating the word 'sewer rat' to himself. It made me smile.

"You've always been such a goof ball" I shoved him lightly. He laughed, before elbowing me in the shoulder. "How about this? Lets start off as friends and start over huh?" He smiled. I thought for a second then nodded. "My name's the six eared Macaque, or Just Macaque. Its nice to meet you." He smiled holding his hand out. I laughed then took it shaking his hand. "Sun wukong, Or just wukong." I smiled
