They had laid down on bed facing each other, in complete silence.

It took a touch of his hands for Everleigh to look like a weight had lifted off her shoulders. Her face relaxed and her eyes closed when Sebastian's fingers trailed the length of her back, up and down, underneath her shirt.

He shifted his body closer to her, until their foreheads were touching, and her soft breathing was tickling his lips.
His hand moved faintly down her body, reaching the back of her thigh, and in a slow motion, Sebastian brought her leg around his waist. She felt deliciously warm against him, and he returned his fingers under her shirt, stroking her skin once again.

She looked like she was about to fall asleep, and he praised himself for making her feel good enough to actually want to rest.
But after a few minutes of tracing invisible figures on her back, Everleigh half opened her eyes and stared at him.

- Why did you get detention for me?

Sebastian's fingers came to a halt, and he knew that mere gesture had given him away. There was no way he could lie his way out of it. He gazed at her, and how the golden locks of hair were all over his pillow. She was so damn pretty.

- Why wouldn't I get detention for you, Grayson?

Her expression softened up and the green eyes sparkled with tenderness.

- Why didn't you tell me?

Her hand, that a second ago had been resting on the pillow, against her chin, moved to caress his cheek. The gesture sent shivers down his spine, and Sebastian continued to stroke the skin on her back, paced. And then he pressed on it, bringing her even closer to him, and there was not an inch of her body that he didn't feel against him.

- I didn't want you to feel like you owed me something.

He responded, trying to sound casual, but she was already closing the small gap in between their mouths to place a slow kiss on his. Sebastian inhaled sharply as their lips moved slowly on each other. He savored her, and he swore she tasted like nectar. Merlin knew he could not get enough of that girl.

- So... - Everleigh muttered, in between kisses. - You get detention for me and don't tell me so I don't feel like I owe you something. But you steal my wand and blackmail me to go on a date with you. And somehow that's better. Do I have my facts correct?

He couldn't help but snort, and suddenly, they were both laughing. And he was just as amazed to see that little sparkle of happiness in her, as short as it had been, like he had watched it the night before.

- What can I say... - Sebastian spoke in a low voice, full of humor. - I am a gentleman.

- You are such an idiot.

She mumbled, and poked his cheek, drawing a smile out of him.

- I told you once before to be careful how you talked to me, or I would fall in love.
