"We'll, your late! Bede had been waiting all morning!" Sonia says while scolding Hop. He just stands there, in the door frame, waiting for Sonia to stop her scolding. Bede snickers before Hop actually enters the room.

"Stop it." Sonia said. "You guys are 14 now, your acting the a kid." Hop glances over at Bede, and just gives him that look. Bede can't help but feel special.

"Anyways, you boys have to get this flower, it's in the woods somewhere, so don't get lost." Bede wondered why he even agreed to be Hops tag along for this. "This might take longer than one day to complete, so get sleeping supplies. It's in glimwood tangle, so Hope, Bede is perfect for this!"

Bede didn't know they'd be in glimwood, It's an awesome place, with even awesome-r Pokémon. But spending nights in there, searching for a flower that might not even exist. Bede signed, glancing over at Hop, with his big dumb smile.

Sonia showed them a photo of the flower, they are white, they looked like a rose. "So, the react to emotion and can change color and form." Bede was even more worried. "And from what I know, the pollen in this flower has magical attributes."

"So what does the pollen do?" Bede asked.

"That's what we're trying to figure out, from what we know, it only affects someone if they were traveling as a duo." Sonia smiled. "Anyways, you better get going, I'm going to be sending you off later today."

Hop and Bede leave the room. Bede realized al his stuff is at Ballonlea, if he headed over, he'd would just come right back. He stopped as Hop continued down the hall, Bede turned back to the research office and was about to ask Sonia.

"Hey Sonia, if all my stuff is at Ballonlea can I just meet hop in front of glimwood?" He said walking in.

Sonia nodded. "Just make sure to tell Hop, he might wait for you at the train if he doesn't know." Bede nodded and left the room. Things were weird with Hop and Bede. Bede felt weird around Hop. He just assumed it was the fact he was such jerk to Hop when they first met, and now their like, buddies.

He got went over to Hop, who was still in the front of the lab. "Alright, meet me in the front of glimwood." Hop looked at him and nodded, clearly upset about something. "You look upset." Hop turned away. Bede not wanting to bother him he starts to leave.

"Wait." Hop says. Bede turns around and walks back over resting on the wall beside each other. "No offense, but I just, I wanted someone else to go on this mission with me. Sonia said no and she had someone in mind." Bede kinda jumped, because Sonia came to him and said Hop wanted him to be his partner. Bede held his shock in, as Hop continued to talk about how he didn't want him there. That was fine with Bede.

"Sonia doesn't even know if I'm going or not, just like invite your other friend and I won't go." Bede really wanted to go, to spend time with Hop but, he didn't want to be a burden.

"I can't, I promised Sonia I'd go with you."

"So you tried that before?"

"Yea... didn't work out well."

"How'd she find out?"

"When I get home from missions, Sonia asks to see pictures. So we could have a third tag along but it would just be awkward." Bede nodded, gave a thumbs up and left.
