Red Rose

Bede wakes up to Hop's face on his, theirs noses are touching, and Hop is just smiling. "Get off me weirdo." Bede says while pushing him off.

"Sorry, didn't wanna wake ya." Hop says while heading out of the tent.

"Alright, you pack the tent, I'll get everything else." Bede says while rushing out too.

"Man, why do I have to get and put away the tent!"

"Don't argue with me."

"Fine." Hop says while unpacking the tent, and the rose jar in hand.

When they finish they start to head out of the tangle. Bede calls a flying taxi for both of them. They then make it back to the lab. "Hey Sonia! We got the flowers." Sonia looked shocked at the colors.

"Hey did they glow before changing colors?" Sonia asked.

"Yea but I don't remember the colors, Bede might." Sonia smiled. Wondering, who is the red rose.

"Bede what color did these glow before changing color?" Sonia says while walking to the front of the lab. Bede side eyes her. He thinks why would she need to know that. He catches on. When Sonia told them it was their emotion, it's not what they were feeling then, but how they feel about each other.

"I don't remember." He says.

"Bummer, you know don't you." Sonia says while ruffling his hair.

"Let go of my hair, and no, I don't know, I don't remember what rose glowed what." Sonia frowned.

"No fun." Sonia kinda laughed. Sonia chose Bede, because she thought the rose would stay white, as he showed no emotion. She figured the yellow rose was Bede, and the red was Hop. A classic case of one in love and the other what's to just be friends. Oh boy was she wrong.

Later on she invited Leon over. "So, y'know what rose colors mean?" Leon nods. "I think your brother like Bede." Leon's eyes just look at Sonia, it's like I was begging Sonia to be joking. "Or it's the other way around."

"Definitely not." Leon says.

"Why's that?" Sonia says with a snicker.

"Have you seen Bede? It's like he's incapable of emotion."

"That would then mean that Bede values the friendship between him and Hop." Sonia says while pulling out the rose jar. Leon looks away.

"Looks like I'm going to have to talk to my brother." He says while walking out of Sonia's office.
