Leon went to Ballonlea, but he wasn't there, he waited at the front of glimwood tangle, heck even Opal was worried. Bede was nowhere to be found. Hop soon learned of this, Bede, who's phone and pokemon are still at the lab, he was alone, somewhere. Hop went out, in search of Bede.
Bede was in a flower field. He found another magic white flower. He laid in the daisy's, knowing if he went back, he'd have to go to untouched territory. He assumed Leon or Sonia told Opal, and she if she knew, wouldn't even lie for him. He knew that he wanted this white flower, to be the last thing people see of his existence. He catches a Pokémon, and sends it to Opals. Bede leaves the spot and finding somewhere else to go.
Leon, Sonia, and Hop are at Opals table, waiting for her to open the letter, she opens it and another white flower fall out of it. The note read:
Dear Opal,
If Leon or Sonia told you, I'm afraid I can't come back. I know I can't hide from my past forever, but I don't want innocent people to be dragged down this rabbit whole. I must face this part of my life alone. And tell Hop I love him.

Hop started to cry, he could stand it. He finally found someone he knew he loved, and that person loved him back, but because of him being pushy, he's gone.
Leon and Sonia searched all through Glimwood tangle for Bede. But nothing was found. Hop couldn't wait aside, he searched the entirety of Galar, and found nothing, they only thing he didn't search, was the air port. They all headed as a group to the airport.
Bede knew where he had to go. Away from Galar, he thought he'd return before it'd be over a year, to take the fairy gym from Opal, to pressure his love. But for now, he would disappear, with out a trace.
