the word 'incubus' what is the first word that crosses your mind? "evil?" is that a word? Perhaps "Demon?" Those two words often cross my mind too. Incubi are not just some lowly insignifigant demon, in fact they have more purpose then they make you believe.  Incubi, as well as being a type of sex demon...also control the realm of nightmares and dreams. They often do this to seduce women in their sleep--at least, they used to. Now they are more civilized and well mannered, and they treat women correctly. At first, one would think they are evil seeing as they embody the sin of lust, some are some aren't. Usually, they are exactly the opposite.

Incubi, often thought of as a demon of sheer, adulterated lust are shunned and hated...thought of as nothing more then a monster that preys on those who are in a deep, contented sleep. For a long time, even I as an individual saw Incubi as nothing more but low-life sex hounds. Of course, my perspective changed when I met one, a incubi by the name "Ash Shadowmere," He changed my entire perspective for he was not what he seemed to be. Allow me to introduce myself, My name is Serenity Nightingale the last known survivor of a powerful, but ancient line of Royal Nephilim.

Yes, for those who are familiar in the world of angels and demons, my father was indeed a Fallen angel, and my mother a sheer, pureblooded mortal. Because of my powerful heritage, I have the two worlds that some never thought could meet: The blood of the mortal, and the blood of the immortal ran throughout my veins, making me almost more powerful than even the angels....but not quite.

Since my Fallen angel blood dominated my human blood, I was given the gift of supernatural beauty. For my age, I looked very beautiful. My hair was a deep, pure ebony color that glistened and shone under the sunlight and moonlight alike. My bangs, were swept to one side of my face and draped perfectly against my pale, chiseled, statue like jaw, my eyes were almond shaped, and a pure blood red color that glittered like oceans and streams when under the light. My lips were also chiseled and painted perfectly, giving me the illusion that I was a well painted doll my lips as red as a rose. I was quite fragile in appearance, my waist small and petite and curvy, my hands dainty and well manicured were also painted as red as my lips. Below my waist, rested beautiful childbearing hips that swayed gracefully from side to side when I took a step. Upon my cheek, was a birthmark shaped like a star and it was also, as red as my eyes.

Today I was dressed in a shirt, made of black leather and a smooth, silky black skirt that barely were below my thighs, accompanied by black boots that went up to my ankles. Embedded in my thighs were gun holsters holding my two desert eagle handguns. For your information, I was an assassin working for a powerful, well known company "Shadow Industries" I killed the target they provided, I got paid handsomely if I did it cleanly with no evidence.  But today, I had a very different job...  I had to protect someone. An Incubus, as you know his name was Ash and he had a bounty on his head for something he didn't do, according to the "Bounty Payers" Ash killed someone important to them, when he had no knowledge of this family, nor the evidence to prove him guilty. Usually, the organization doesn't meddle with bounties or anything, but Ash was a fellow operative and one of the best. Ash and I never have met, but we were technically co-workers.

Because of the bounty on his head, I knew he wasn't going to  be easy to find. After all I heard rumors he was an amazing  hide and seek player. And I was the seeker, going to keep him safe. Perhaps it would take me awhile to find him, or it may be the most simplistic thing in the world. It could take me hours, days perhaps. Smirking, I hopped on my motorcycle...which was named by the organization "Hell Raiser" it was the Fastest motorcycle the industry owned with a maximum speed of 200 miles per hour, it was also equipted with mini machine guns...in case the rider needed to make a clean get away.  Well....dirty get away but you get my point.  Riding through the endless streets of people, my motorcycle humming amazingly I eventually found Ash, he was hiding in an abandoned theatre in downtown Rod'agea, a city where demons and angels thrive.  I approached him slowly...
