Echo had a very typical life of a highschool girl. This is what it may look from outside. Everything was fine, she went to a decent school, was pretty good in academics and had a couple of friends. Nothing wrong from outer perspective.
If there was something that was wrong, that was inside her house. She had abusive parents. They didn't seem to love their daughter in the least, but they keep up the appearance in front of society. They'd get drunk and scold her, sometimes she even get hit.
She was very done with her life. Each day was hard. It was difficult to keep appearance and smile, when she was already dead inside. At this point she felt like she wasn't human anymore. She had become numb, just going with all torture like a mute doll, just to be ripped apart, waiting for her end.
End came to her, when she get hit by a car on her way home from school.
When she knew, she was gonna die for sure. She only felt relieved. All her pain can now be over.
