[Hiya, I'm still alive apparently. While I was on my sudden hiatus, I wrote a bunch of chapters a few months ago. My writing style has slightly changed then, but I'll still try my best to update this whenever I can, but for now I'll just dump all the chapters I've written but never got to post lol. Everything below this message is a part of those old writings. I'll tell you when these old scraps end. Hope you still enjoy this lol]

[It took me about 3-5 rewrites just to make this chapter.

Fun Fact: The little fox's name was gonna be Muttias. And Britain would've outright called him "Lil Mutt-Mutt" but after several more rewrites, I ended up removing the whole scene where Brit bonds with Muttias. The name was based on an actual fox named that from the SaveAFox Youtube channel, who you may know primarily from Finnegan - their iconic laughing fox.

Since I love their foxes, I thought that it would be funny to reference Mutt-Mutt.]

It's been about... A few days? Weeks? Months, even? I don't know. I didn't pay attention to the days passing, I only really paid attention to trying to survive in this forest. Surprisingly, throughout my hunts, I haven't really gotten in contact with any others. Sometimes I hear rustling the bushes, but I don't take the time to listen or see who or what that is. I just make a run for it. It's best to retreat than to fight, especially in my unfit condition. My friendship with the foxes have only grew and after a while, they were comfortable around me, which was nice. I always made sure to bring some food for them too whenever I go out of the cave. They seem real thankful for it, which is nice. Living in the cave for a while wasn't so bad. I've slept in worse places and scenarios, besides I have thick balls of floof to accompany me while I rest - to play with even. The lil' rascal always tries to get my attention and runs around the cavern. I'm often too tired to play with him, and of course, I don't want to attract too much attention, so often times I just give him lots and lots of scritches and let him playfully bite on my hand.

Wish my boys were here with me. They would love to have a pet at this little goof.

Speaking of my boys, I've decided to leave the fox family behind. Like I said, I don't know how long I've been staying here, but it's high time for me to leave. As much as I enjoy the pretty peaceful life in the wild, I can't abandon my sons nor can I abandon my people. As a goodbye, I left a pile of berries in the cave for the family can stock up on, and other makeshift things I ended up making with twigs and leaves that may prove use to them somehow. It was sad to leave them be, especially since they were all getting their paws on my arm, as if they were begging me to not leave. If only I could bring them along with me, and hide them in the Sanctuary with England's help... But I believe that would bring more harm to them rather than good. If something were to happen to them, I would just be more upset with myself. It's better to leave them in their natural habitat. I gave them a few more scritches and a couple hugs before I leave them for good. I thanked them for letting me stay in their home and finally bid them farewell.

Afterwards, I took my leave. The skies're looking a bit grey, but that's nothing for a British gentleman, such as myself, right? I packed some berries, the special cutter for the handcuff, the rifle, aaand... That's it. The walkie-talkie's gone. The kid ate it. I wasn't able to get anything from it anyway. The signal was jammed no matter where I went. I even climbed a whole tree and raised it to the skies like it was Simba from the Lion King but to no avail whatsoever. I suppose, at least if they tried reconnecting to the walkie-talkie to find Belarus or something, they won't be able to. Speaking of her, I wonder how she is now... I genuinely hope she isn't actually dead. That'd be tragic. She was the only boss nice to me.

But I suppose, there's many more things I need to worry about rather than her. As I was minding my own business and walking through the dense forest, I heard something rustling in the bushes again. I can't go back to the cave now, can I? "Hej ty! " I hear from a far.
