There was a thin line that should never be crossed. It was a non-return line and the only possible result was the death of those who crossed it.

"I don't know what that look came from, but do you think you have a-" Morgan was abruptly interrupted when Yuto hit her with a fist covered with magical energy, throwing her against the cage that contained the beast.

The time for words was over. Yuto was tired of speeches that would lead nowhere.

He had tried to leave his past behind and live a new life, but Morgan had ruined all his efforts. Morgan chose war and Yuto would give it to her.

Morgan rose from the ground and grinned. She didn't know exactly what happened to Yuto and what that change was about, but it was interesting. Normally a magus could possess an infinite amount of magical energy, but the amount it could release depended on the magic circuits, however, the amount of mana in that mere fist went beyond Morgan's estimation of Yuto.

"Do you know where we are right now?" Morgan summoned her staff, hitting it on the floor.

A magic circle was activated under Yuto's feet. Magical energy was released violently from the magic circle, releasing violent bursts of magical energy on Yuto.

"Brat, you come here believing you can demand what you want and yet you don't understand that's how the world works." Morgan raised the staff, beginning to gather magic energy on the upper end.

"This is the world. It is the original law that requires that we stole from others what we do not have." Yuto gathered the magic energy and released it abruptly, wiping out Morgan's spell.

Yuto also did not understand what had happened to his body exactly except for his apparent physical change. What he knew was that he had gained enough power to allow him to fight his aunt.

Yuto knew that he had not received proper training, but only advice on how to counter a poisonous snake like Morgan. According to Merlin, Yuto's greatest weapon was his instinct and at that moment it told him to concentrate the magic power in his stomach.

"I take back what you stole from me," Yuto declared firmly.

Yuto released the magic energy he collected in the form of a golden breath, which was powerful enough to destroy Morgan's witchcraft. Each defensive spell placed to protect her workshop, each trap set by Morgan as well as the wraiths, the dragon-tooth warriors, the golems and everything Morgan summoned to defence her were wiped out.

"Impossible." Morgan's pupils dilated as she accomplished something. "Dragon magic?" Morgan activated a dimension refraction spell to escape the trajectory of the attack. "Did he transmute the body?"

The legend that Andrew told her and that she had degraded to a stupid fairytale was perhaps truer than she thought initially. She had ignored it because dragons were proud creatures and did not side with weak beings like humans, but he was wrong.

Morgan appeared behind Yuto. She quickly lifted the staff and charged, but before she could release it, Yuto attacked her with a powerful kick powered by magical energy. She vomited blood as she felt the kick sink into her stomach.

Morgan looked up at Yuto. "Where did you find that power?"

"If what you expected were swords, then the solution was something you didn't expect," Yuto said, hitting Morgan in the face with a fist covered in magical energy. "I have received this power to protect those who are important to me. To prevent others from dying because of me."
