Josh's POV
I walked back upstairs to Mads looking at my phone upset as hell.
Josh: Why are you on my phone?
Mads: I have a better question Josh. WhY iS AlEx FrEnCh CaLlInG yOu?!?
Josh: Mads...Alex French doesn't have my number. That's my little cousin Alexender.
Mads: Oh...
I grabbed the remote from the bed and turned on a random movie. We watched it and I mustave fell asleep and Mads took advantage and cuddled onto me.
I knew that I would give us as a couple a chance but I didn't want to do it last night. Maybe next week would be a better time to tell her. So I could see if I wanted to keep her a friend or not. I still needed to make up my desicion. In plus, I just broke up with Nessa a few days ago.
1 MONTH LATER
Mads and I have been hanging out a lot more recently and my 1 week to make a desicion turned into a month. Today was Janurary 24th 2023. I was hoping to tell her that I wanted to be more than friends. I've had plenty of time to think about the desicion. Hopefuly nothing would change this time.
I drove to Mads apartment and found her on her couch, watching Harry Potter with a empty bowl of popcorn beside her.
Mads: Oh hey!
Josh: Hey...You had to put on Harry Potter again?
Mads: We all need a little bit of wizards in our life.
Josh: Haha.
Mads: Did you come just to hang out or?...
Josh: Sorta. I need to talk to you.
Mads: Yeah, yeah sure.
I could tell on the inside she was hoping to death that I would ask her to be my girlfriend.
I sat down on the couch beside her, putting my keys and phone on her coffee table and sat back while she paused the movie and then sat back and looked at me. She smiled.
Mads: So? What is it?
Josh: Will you be my girlfriend?
Mads looked happy and shocked at the same time but nothing came out of her mouth and she froze and I felt uncomftable. She quickly unfroze.
Mads: OMG YESS!!!! I THOUGHT U WERE NEVER GONNA ASK!
She jumped on my lap and hugged me tightly. I hugged back.
She pulled away and then kissed me and we started making out. After about 10 minutes, we had to pull away due to a knock on the door.
Mads: Ughhh! (said while walking to the door)
I just laughed and grabbed my phone and texted the Sway gc:
Josh: I asked her!
Bryce: WHAT?!? HSHKDHEIUFIENKNIFKEIKNF
Griffin: YESSS OMFG!
Quinton: I can't answer propely, I'm in a meeting so I'll explode later.
Josh: You guys are so fucking hilarious!
Noah: That we are!
Blake: Imma double that shit.

I laughed at all my friends reactions while Mads walked in with some Door Dash.
Mads: Who's that?
I found it pretty cute how she had some jealousy in her tone so I just put my phone down on the coffee table.
