"Goodevening also, Mommy's home?" I asked one of our maids as we walk through the hallway

"Nandun sa living room hija" she answered, i smiled at her and went to the living room and saw Mommy sitting in the couch

"mamá, dónde está papá?" (Mom, where's dad?) i asked her and sat next to her as she continued watching Tv

"sigue trabajando, está en su oficina. Did you eat yet? I'll ask them to cook you food?" (Still working, He's in his office) She asked, i quickly shook my head "No need, i already ate. I asked Rando to take me to a restaurant in the city" she nodded

I saw dad coming out of his office, and approach us "tengo que volver a españa, tengo que terminar unos papeles y volveria en unos dias. Valeria take care of your mamá, while I'm gone." (I have to go back to spain, i have to finish some papers and would go back in a few days). I nodded

"You'll leave tonight?" He nodded, "have you packed? Come one let me help you." Mom took him upstairs to pack his things to go back to Spain

We're here in the philippines right now, They're here for vacation and also accompanying me. "Veronica, That's too much" i heard my father scolding my mother

"don't come back." My mother laughed, i shook my head and went upstairs to my room.

My phone got a notification but i ignored it and proceeded to the bathroom to take a shower, after that i cleaned my face.

I laid down on my bed and opened my phone to see instagram notifs, from Chiara.. she's the only person I'm still in contact with, i cut ties with them years ago while in law school.

I clicked on it and it looks like they're having a party. I saw.. Mom and dad.. having fun, it has been.. 10 years.

"Valeria? Dinner" my mother called, i wiped my tears and got out of bed, "coming!" I yelled as i got out of the room and went downstairs

I sat on the dinner table while my parents were talking. "anciano! You're not eating that! Give me" (old man) . My mom tried to take my father's food, Pano ba naman kakainin eh bawal nga daw. So kulit.

I looked at them so happy. I smiled and looked down on my food.

What if..?

"Atty. Torres? I would like to announce, may meeting po kayo ng daddy ninyo mamaya" i gave my secretary a nod. It's another busy afternoon in the company. "I'll get to it. Zoom meeting?" She nodded and excused her self

The meeting began at 3:30 in the afternoon. And Ended at 4: 10 in the afternoon.

The meeting was only about some issues and our project in rizal, our company is one of the best and biggest real estate in the country and is also in Spain. Kaya we take little issues seriously.

I also have decided to work and manage our company here in the philippines, for now. I may go back to Spain.

Before i went home i went to stop by the groceries muna buying food for me and sinabay ko nadin ang pinapabili ni mommy.

As i walk to the counter i encountered a boy walking also in my direction.

"I'm sorry" he apologized as he kneeled down to get the things that i dropped, "Really sorry" he repeated.

His hair was blown by air as he stood up to face me. I myself couldn't move. "Are okay?" He asked, "yeah.. I'm fine." I said and excused myself.

That guy was still on my head till now!

The thoughts! Love hate ba ito?

What's his name? Hindi kasi tumitingin sa daan! What's his work? Where does he work? Who are his parents? Gwapo pero hindi makatingin sa daan!

My head was full of rants of love and hate till i got home.

"Si mommy?" I asked one of our maids when i reached the front door, "nasa kusina po" she answered

I smiled as a thank you and i left to go to the kitchen witnessing my mother cooking with one of our maids

"Qué estás cocinando mamá?" (What are you cooking mama?) i asked when i entered the kitchen. "Hm? Oh pasta. Come mi amor, help me with this" i helped her put the pasta on the sauce with shrimp on it and mixed it up

She's making one of my favorite pasta, chipotle shrimp pasta. But nothing beats carbonara.

When it was all cooked i helped our maids set the table for us to eat, "daddy's still in Spain?" I asked my mother as she puts the pasta on the table, "yes, but he's flight is tomorrow. Why? Is there a problem my dear?" She asked me as she sat down on the chair

"Nothing, i thought his flight was tonight. Was the problem bad?" She shook her head "No, he had a sudden meeting with the employees that's why he took a while" she said as she puts pasta on my plate

"Okay, Well how was it?" I asked as i ate my food "it's about our properties and some materials that our engineers need"

I got a sudden notification on my phone, when i opened my phone it was from chiara.

It was a picture of an empty dining chair between.. Mom and dad.

Chiara🥀:how can i move on when all they did was talk about you and ask them selves what have you become. Or where have you been.

I turned off my phone and got up to put the plate on the sink. Still i scrolled through a post of a man that looked familiar i clicked on his page and accidentally viewed his story.

It was his picture with a white coat on and only half of his face was shown, but i could really tell it was the guy earlier.
