"What? Hablas en serio mamá? How could that happened? I already told Engineer Juarez and Engineer Guanzon to secure and inspect the materials first before letting it be used." I sat down on my swivel chair on my office and massaged my nose bridge while closing my eyes and my head facing up

[They did mi amore, this is so sudden. Engineer Juarez is already stressing out about Engineer Guerrero approving the construction with out his approval.] Mom said on the phone, Getting Stressed out.

[Your Dad is also confused on how did it collapsed when the delivered materials were new] i heard her sigh heavily.

"Calm down mama, Ill handle it."

[Yes please, we need you right now. We will have a meeting this 3 in the afternoon for investigation]

I drove to the company immediately "Attorney Torres, Good afternoon" they greeted as they saw me walking through the hall to the elevator.

"Penelope, In the elevator now please." I pressed on the floor level where mom's office is located, "yes attorney?" Penelope asked

"Engineer Juarez, Guanzon and specially Engineer Guerrero, Nasaan?" I asked , "They're already in your mothers office attorney." She said

When the elevator opened i got out and immediately went to my mothers office.

"Guerrero, This is my first time to receive this kind of news. And I'm not happy about it,. Guerrero, what were you thinking?  Our companies name would be stained just because of this building collapsing." I heard my Mom scolding Engineer Guerrero

All heads turned when i opened the door, "I'm sorry engineer Guerrero but you might not like what's yet to come." I said and looked at my mom after looking at Guerrero's pity face.

"Let's go. It's almost Three." Engineer Guerrero, Juarez and Guanzon left first.

"Come on now mi amore." Dad reached for my mom's hand. Mom let out a sigh and stood up, dad placed his hands on my mother waist and let her head lean on my dads shoulder.

We arrived a minute late because my dad had a talk with Engineer Guerrero.

When we entered all eyes were on them, Not me since I'm hiding. i sat down properly to keep my aura serious while sitting on the designated seat for me.

"Good afternoon. Apologies for what happened today." My Dad Sat down on his seat as a C.E.O his face was serious. "Since we are already talking about what happened, care to share, Engineer Guerrero?" I asked Engineer Guerrero, She nodded and stood up in front

"I apologize deeply for what happened today. Engineer Juarez told me that the new materials would be delivered earlier this morning, but the old ones came because the company failed to cancel the delivery. I thought there were sudden changes on the materials.." she looked down as she speaked

"Engineer ka. Dapat alam mo 'yong pinagkaiba, 'di ba?" Engineer Juarez Said, looking so serious "Tsaka in-assign kita pero dapat tinawagan n'yo muna ako bago n'yo sinimulan."

"Napakarami n'yo roon, ah? Ni isa sa inyo, walang nag-abalang tawagan ako?" Keith  massaged his head and sighed heavily.
"At hindi ka man lang nag-consult kay
Engineer Guanzon?"

"Enough," Mom told them holding her head. "There seems to be a problem in communication.You don't need to worry about this, Mrs. Araneta. Our company will pay for all the damages, hospital bills, and materials. And hoped This will never happen again." She stood up and left with my dad helping her walk.

"Akala ho namin okay na kasi si Engineer
Guerrero ang nagsabi." Engineer Guanzon pursed his lips. "Ang alam ko lang may pinadalang pitong tauhan sa site.
Pumayag si Engineer Guerrero. Ngayon,
'yong apat, nasa hospital."

"Ano? Sino'ng nagpadala?" Kumunot ang noo ni Keith.

"Ikaw raw engineer" Engineer Guanzon looked at him, confused.

"Well.." I coughed before standing up. "We will ask the legal team of our company to investigate the site. We will keep in touch. For now, the project will be passed down to Engineer Guanzon, while Engineer Guerrero and Engineer Juarez are both in question. Is that okay?" I looked into her eyes and quickly looked away when she nodded

I left the room in a hurry, "Valerie!" Someone called for me. I knew who it was. "Sorry, but I'm not Valerie. I'm Anastasia Louisse Valeria Torres. I don't know someone named Valerie" Valerie died Years ago.

"V-valeria.. can we talk?" She asked and came closer, "sure but i don't have enough time Mrs. Araneta." I looked at my watch

She looked at me with tears in her eyes "are you just gonna stand there and stare at me?" I looked at my watch again avoiding her eyes

"I just wanted to say sorry.." she said apologetically.

I got a text notification from my dad.

From Dad: Valeria, Your Mother's in the hospital. Could you take care of her while I'm on a meeting? Ill come back.

To dad: I'm coming, What happened?

From Dad: She passed out due to lots of stress, but the doctor said she's okay. You don't have to be worried while driving

From Dad: Ill go ahead, take care of your mom for me.

Dad sent a picture.

It was a picture of my Mom Laying down in a hospital bed unconscious.

"Sorry, Mrs. Araneta. I have to go, my mother needs me." She looked confuse and shocked but i didn't care but just rushed to the elevator and hitting the level where the parking lot is.

I got in my ferrari 488 spider in black and drove off.

I arrived at Montefalco medical Center, i asked the front liner for my Mom's Room number

"Relative po ba kayo ng patient?" The nurse asked, "I'm her daughter po" she assisted me to my mothers room

I opened the door and saw my mother laying there still unconscious. I sat next to her and felt a sudden pain in my heart.

A tear fell from my eyes and i got sudden flashbacks from when i was adopted by them.

Does memories in the kitchen.. in the garden.. in spain.

It broke my heart when i realize, if god made us in good terms does this mean i have to go back? What if i don't wanna go back? What if i wanna stay, here with my..family.

"Valeria.." i turned away when i heard my mother call me, she's awake.

I wiped my tears as i always do, i always wipe my own tears.

"Is something wrong? Did someone fight my baby?" 'My baby' my tears fell down once more

"Nothing mom, Im fine" i laughed, "Come one, tell me. You know, you never told me about your problems. Im getting jealous to the people you told your problems to" she pouted

"Why do you have to be jealous? I never told any one about my problems, they wouldn't understand." I smiled

"Their parents love them.."

"Tell me. Tell me while I'm here, Tell me while we're together, tell me. Tell your mom" she said and pulled me closer

They knew i have parents from the past, but they don't know them. Hindi nila alam client nila parents ko.

"Come one.. you always hide everything." She pouted again.

I laughed at her face and shook my head to tease her

When a boy suddenly entered, "sorry to bother you both but.." he stopped when he saw my face
