Female leader POV:
Hi! I am Sara Aacharya. I live in the city of Pokhara in Nepal. I will tell you THIS IS THE BEST CITY IN THE WORLD. Oh- don't get me started on the air, the beauty, the view- umm- anyway. Sum up, POKHARA 4 LIFE. Anyway, so I was this awkward kid, a shy one, a cutie-lovely- okay sorry let me stop myself. Clears throat
This was my first day at high school.
I bumped into people, apologized to them, and bumped into people again stomping on people. While I was snooping around until I found my class and seated, the teacher and other students were using visual communication. The bell rang and the teacher called me to introduce myself. The air turned dark for me. I wasn't very social.
I awkwardly walked in front, awkwardly smiled and said, "Ah- hi!". Everyone was quiet, always focusing on me. "Um- Sara- Acharya! Nice to meet you guys!" No reaction was seen on anyone's face as I stated, "Um- Sara- Acharya!" "I am 15 years old, I like to umm- read, .. Thank you!" The teacher signalled me to leave, I quickly ran to my seat and sat there huffing. It went smoothly, until (IT IS LUCH TIME!) my brain screamed. (ohhh~ I am gonna be soo alone) that was all I thought but then a girl was ready to leave the room but looked back at me with the corner of her eyes. She stopped what she was doing for a moment. I gulped. It freaked me out. Then she slowly turned her heels and approached me. "Hey, new girl, what was your name again?" she asked me in a harassing voice. "UMM-" I tried to speak, but my voice cracked a lot.
"My name is Sara Aacharya" I finally spoke after gathering some courage, "Oh- Sara, well, my name is Gautami Adhikari" She now spoke with a sweet voice, "Why don't you come to eat with me? You probably know no one here, right? So what do you say?" she pulled out her hand for me to cringe on. "So, do you have lunch or do you go to the school cafeteria?" she asked as I stood up. "Umm- home-" I said, (DID I JUST MADE A FRIEND IN MY FIRST DAY? I AM SOO HAPPY). After I grabbed my tiffin, she returned to her seat with me. Then, on the second last bench, she unzipped her bag and took out her tiffin. For a few minutes, we sat together in the cafeteria and looked around. "So, you got friends?" I tried to start a conversation with her, "Oh- I have but y'know they all are upper class, 3rd grade, I've known them since kids, that's why my mom picked his high school for me." She was talking with such an interest, I looked at her in aww.
"I will introduce you to them when I get a chance, okay?" she smiled at me. She was so sweet, I am totally in awe.I had never felt this type of thing before. We talked for a while, and our lunch finished very quickly as we were too involved in talking. The bell rang, and everyone started heading to their respective classes. There was now a lot of chaos and feet slamming the floor. "Let's go" Gautami pulled out her hand again. I took it and we reached our class just 2 minutes before it started.
The class started, and it was pretty boring, then a group of boys passed us. At that time, I looked out the window. As they passed, my eyes lit up when I saw an attractive and handsome boy appear. While it was pretty quick, I felt like my world had slowed down for me. Everything was rainbows, in slow motion, and the wind hit my skin just like the pen hit my head. "Now! Why are you looking outside the window, Miss? And more of it, this is your first day!" I shake my head, as I notice Gautami glance at me, (Did I embarrass myself on my first day? Will Gautami hate me now?) "S-sorry ma'am" I bow as my eyes are glossy. Tears start to fill my eyes but I stop them from crying. "It's fine, pay attention in class" the teacher turned around and started teaching again.
