Female leader POV:
I woke up in the morning due to the sound of my loud ass alarm clock. I sat up straight on my bed staring directly in front of my wall. I let out a big yawn after a few seconds, rubbing my eyes. A blank tumbled from my body, and I got up and checked my calendar. I saw that it was Friday, not Saturday (In Nepal, local holidays are held on Saturdays, not Sundays).Groans"Nooooooooooo.....~" I ran back to my bed and fell face down on my pillow. "Don't wanna go to school today!" I whined. I took a look at the ceiling. Sigh, I got off my bed again, looking at the time (6:24). I drag my ass to the bathroom, pick up my toothbrush and start to play my playlist. I slowly but still vibrate with the rhythm of the song playing. I washed my mouth, face and took a quick shower still vibin' with the music. I then pursue to dry my hair with the blower. After my fresh-up season, I sprinted my way downstairs. My family had already seated themselves at the table. I went to sit in my seat, across from my parents and brother. There was silence till my mother spoke, "How are your studies? Ever thought of taking a book and flipping its page? I am telling you, you never study. Y'know, you're a disappointment, aren't you? Did I enrol you into the school to study or just be around with guys and sit around doing nothing?" After hearing this I tried so frantically to hold my tears back of joy. "but Ma--" my brother was cut off by my mother again, "I don't want to hear it, okay? I don't care. You are not good enough!".
He looked at Dad, "Ma I got 81.65% on the finals", and my father added, "Yeah honey, you are pressing him. He got some marks. He was in the top 10. Just because your distant relative called you and told you that their children received slightly more than Visu(Visahl) did, it doesn't mean you're gonna press him. Even though he is trying his best, he cannot cut off the connection with his friends and stop taking time to rest. The exam just finish, y'know? Let the man have his breakfast, please." He had put his hand on Vishal's shoulder, lightly shaking it and then allowed it to go. I let out a soft giggle and started eating my meal. My mom looked furious. "I am telling you that you and your father are on the same team. Nobody understands me here! And look at your sister she got 83.67%!", I flipped my hair in a motion before Vishal said, "It was 38.67 not 83.67, but we let it slide because Sa(Sara) was happy."My father added, "that's why I took you to the store so you can get more powered glasses." I rolled my eyes and said, "I don't need powered glasses, I'm just near-sighted." My parents and Vishal exchanged glances, and my mom sighed. "Fine, but if your grades don't improve, we'll have to find another solution." We all laughed. After finishing lunch, we went out to do our own business. I proceeded to my room and changed my clothes to my uniform. I got ready and rushed down. I screamed my brother's name out, "VISHALLLL!! WE ARE GONNA BE LATE BECAUSE OF YOU!" As soon as I screamed, my father handed me my phone, "Here, I brought you a new phone! The other one couldn't stand up to the tragic event of falling down the stairs. I am sorry for that, okay? I was out of my mind and I didn't notice your phone in your hand and you know I just smashed it."
I smiled at my father, "Thanks, Dad. You know, I don't even need to replace my phone. All I need is for you guys to stay by my side. That's what matters the most." My brother nodded and said, "And that's why we are a family." My mother smiled and said, "Yes, we are. We are together through thick and thin and we will always have each other's backs." I ask looking at Vishal, "When did you come here?" We all hugged each other before we set off for school. Everything seems right in the world. We arrived at school early today. All of a sudden the class president announced, "As you all know today is Friday and there is something special about today. In the event that this is not possible, we are organizing a club festival. In this section, you will have the option to choose a club that interests you, or simply come to the programme to support us. The programme will be held in the ground in the back. If you need any further information about it or are not clear about the information please check the notice board. We have a poster that has all the information you need to know about the program." Then she walked off to her seat. It made me happy to not have class today, and the noise of students cheering filled the room as well.I froze when I realized a little knock on the shoulder was coming from my hands; I tried to turn around but someone covered my eyes, "Say who it is!" I smirked, "Ohhh~ I don't know? Who could this be? Umm- My bestie? Gabi????" she moved her hand away, "Right!" She sat next to me, "Did I miss something?" I then explained everything to her.
