Main Female Leader POV:

It was exam time. All the seniors were occupied on their own. They worked so hard to get here. They all waited for this day. After this exam, they will be able to rest and free their own path onwards including Srijana and Smriti. I know and understand the situation that they are fighting their own problems, but the air has been turning cold around this period. I came to know that they did have some love experience and it made me unhinged. It is like everyone's life is filled up with colour but in mine, there is no colour to be filled. Life has been boring. No one to talk to now, the same old routine of studying, and what else do I do after going home? I can talk to Gabi and I do, but it is not like before. She seems to be happy in her own world and I am happy for her. Samir and Gabi are getting their moment and I don't wanna ruin it for them. All the people from our class and Samir's class were teasing them, even the teachers joined in. Our classmates even dragged Gabi into Samir's class and made her sit beside him. Although I was one of the 'classmates', it made me feel a little more lonely. I sat down in my respected chair, head down looking out the window. It was cold and windy today. I was humming a song under my breath. I felt a little tap on my shoulders. I turned to look at the figure. It was Aakash. He was looking at me with concerned eyes. He asked why I was looking so upset. I shook my head saying that it was nothing important. "Really? Are you sure?" He asked sitting beside me, holding my shoulders.

After some questioning from him, he let go of my shoulder. After I said that I was fine, he sighed, relaxing and sitting next to the chair near me. He went to reach into his pocket to pull out two brownish-red ticket-like cards that were designed beautifully. He held it in front of me. "I know that I just appeared out of nowhere holding a movie ticket in my hand but hear me out. My friend, who I planned" I looked at him as he explained the situation. (Movie? Ticket? Movie tickets?... He is asking me out or am I just overthinking?) I thought to myself. "With got sick at the very end moment and I already brought the ticket book. So, if you don't mind coming?" As he continued and explained all that happened. My mind was trying to comprehend what it was, (wait, he is asking me out indirectly? He doesn't look like lying? Am I being too serious and judgemental? Well I will just say yes)."If you like, if you don't I will ask someone else." As he was about to put the ticket back, "Sure" I replied, spinning my pen. He stopped and looked at me with sparkly eyes. "Really?""Yea, got nothing to do anyway," I said. "OK then, tomorrow, Saturday, at 12 am at *****, bet?" "Yea, bet" I looked away as he walked away cheerfully. A smile was planted on my lips, seeing him happy. The bell ran soon after, and the day went by as fast as the wind. I didn't even realize it was 5 pm already. I grabbed my back and marched to the door. As soon as I opened it, Aakash faced me. "Hello!" he treated me, "Hi" I waved. He was now walking alongside me and Gabi after he greeted her too.

Gabi went her way after a few steps, and I and Aakash were left alone. Following, we reached the entrance of the school. We talked and waited for our ride. "So, did you have fun at school today?" He kicked off. "School and fun? You sure?" I answered, "Hmm, you're right. School isn't fun all the time, but at least we get to make friends and childhood memories, no? Though this education system sucks like a vacuum. We still have some good times here." I glared at him as he buffed words. It took a good second to process and laugh."Yup, you've got a good point." I looked up remembering all the good things, and new friends. This may not be the best but it is good. All the new and fun stuff I had experienced and done in this school, plus to think of it, finding such loyal friends was like a blessing for the first year of new high school. We rather had a sweet conversation before my vehicle arrived to pick me up and we had to depart. The way home and all the stuff after that was a normal day's routine. Arrive home, change clothes, eat, do homework, and ba ba. After a tiring day, I flopped on my bed. It didn't take long enough for me to fall asleep. I woke up to sunrise from my window which I had forgotten to close yesterday. The rays were shining through my eyes. I rolled over and slowly walked up to the window to close it, stop and open it again. I stepped into the bathroom, doing all my regular work, brushing my teeth, bathing, skincare and checking my calendar. "Oh, I remember, I have to go to a movie with Aakash today" As soon as I was done opening my closet and choosing my fit, my mom called me down.
