It was morning in the city of Magnolia. Wendy, Carla, and Levy were on their way to the local bookstore when Wendy looked towards Levy and said.

"Thank you for inviting us to the bookstore Levy." She says graciously. Levy turned toward Wendy and smiled. "No worries girl, besides, you may find a book in there that you'll want to read."

As soon as she said that, they saw the store with the name "Book Land" in big red letters on an open book above the big green doors.

When they get to the entrance, Levy pushes the door open and they walk inside. Wendy and Carla are amazed at how many books there are.

"My my, there certainly are a lot of books here." Carla says.

"Yea, there are more books here than in your room at Fairy Hills Levy." Wendy says.

Levy turns to her and says, "Yea, I know. How about you go and find a book you would like to read? I'll pay for it."

Wendy gets a nervous look on her face. "Are you sure? I brought my money with me and—" Wendy gets cut off when Levy put a finger on her mouth to silence her.

"I'm sure. Don't worry about it, Wendy. I'll pay for whatever book you and Carla want." Levy says with a wink. Wendy smiles and goes to a section of the bookstore and grazes over the books.

10 Minutes Later Wendy's POV

"Ah man, this is super tough." I say to myself in frustration as I can't seem to find a book that I want to read.

I've looked at many books that I might have thought looked interesting to read, but they are all either about romance or about how the female body works. I sigh to myself and decide to ask the clerk if he knows any good books to read.

So I walk up to the front desk and as I'm walking up, I hear the clerk talking to one of his employees.

"Well this is unfortunate, I thought for sure these books would sell." The clerk said with disappointment. "Yea, and we paid a lot of money to get these books." The employee said, also with disappointment.

"I wonder what's wrong." I think to myself. When I get to the front desk, see a bell on the side of the cash register and I ring it. The clerk and the employee turn around to see me and I give a nervous smile.

"Um...excuse me, what seems to be the problem?" I ask nervously. The clerk sighs and walks over to the other side of the desk. When he gets close enough, I see that he has short black hair that is parted mostly to the side, and steel eyes behind a pair of square-shaped glasses. He is wearing a light gray collar shirt with a black apron on top with a name tag that says, "Lucius" on it.
