Sophomore Year

At the hospital

Authors note-this chapter contains the death aspect I was talking about in the car crash chapter.

As soon as Georgie gets to the hospital, he runs in, and asks the front desk lady, hey, my friend, Y/n, was brought in, I was wondering if you knew where she was. The lady at the front desk says yes, she has been asking for you, they haven't been able to get an Iv in or anything, because she's scared, follow me and Ill show you to her room. Georgie smiles, and follows her to your room, when they get to your room, he sees you laying in bed, in pain, with tears rolling down your eyes, because they haven't been able to give you pain meds because you won't let them do an Iv. Georgie comes over to you and says hey, beautiful, will you please let them do an Iv, so you won't be in pain? you look at Georgie and smile and say Georgie, Im scared Georgie smiles, and comes over to you, and hugs you lightly while they do the iv, and start pushing pain meds. A little while later, a nurse comes in with a wheelchair and looks at Georgie and says we need to take her to see her dad, her moms in delivery, and her siblings are in the ICU, we aren't sure how much longer her dad has. Georgie looks down at you, while you're playing with his bracelet on his arm and says to the nurse ok and he looks back at you and asks Beautiful, do you want to go say goodbye to your dad? you look at him with pain in your eyes at the mention of your dad. You nod your head yes, and they take you to see your dad. When you walk into the room, your dad looks over at you and says Hey, sport, I know you don't want to hear it, but I love you so much, take care of your mom and siblings for me, especially the twins, I love you so much. you look over at Georgie and you turn back to your dad and say, After all you've done to me, mom, James, and Taylor, im glad the twins aren't going to know you, you have been an asshole my whole life, and you expect me to just forgive you because you are going to die, I know I shouldnt say this, but I love some parts of you, the parts where you actually cared, so now, Im going to leave, and go see James and Taylor, because they need me more than you do. Georgie looks at you in shock, and your dads heart monitor is flat lined, and the doctor called the time of death. Georgie takes you out into the hallway while you begin to cry, and he hugs you, and holds your hands, and comforts you. The doctor says let's get you back to your room for a little bit you nod, and they take you back to your room. After they get you into the bed, Georgie pulls the nurse aside and says, I really like her, and she's going through so much, and I don't know what to do. The nurse looks over at Georgie with a smile and says, hunny, anybody that has someone in the hospital that they like, they would already be cuddling, and talking, just go comfort her, the best you can, Ill send your dad in here too. Georgie mouths thank you, and goes over to your bed, and sees your crying, he lays down next to you, and you put your head on his chest. The nurse wheels in two cribs, with your baby sisters, you look up at Georgie and smile, and try to move closer to him without hurting yourself, he notices what you're trying to do, and moves himself closer to you, that's when another doctor came in and said Hey Georgie, can I talk to you for a second? Georgie looks over at you, and you nod, Georgie goes over to the doctor and the doctor says we need to take Y/n, to see her mom we don't Georgie cuts the doctor off and asks are you taking Y/n to say goodbye to her mom, is it going to be her brother James next? the doctor looks at Georgie with a sad smile and says im not sure, right now James is off life support, and we don't know how long he has left, there is a little brain function left, but not alot. Gerogie signs, and goes back over to you, and grabs your hands and says, Beautiful, we have to go see your mom, ok? you ask Georgie, is my mom going to die too? Georgie looks over at the doctor, then back at you and nods his head slowly, you hug Georgie and say, I'm glad you're here with me, I don't think that I could go through this with anyone else. Georgie looks over at the doctor, because he starts smiling, and the doctor waves him on to make a move of some kind, Georgie looks back at you and says, I know this is the worst possible time I could do this, but Y/n, will you be my girlfriend? you look at Georgie with happy, but sad eyes and say yes, it may not sound like I care, but you mean everything to me Georgie, i've just been through so much crap in the past 24 hours, I don't feel happy. Georgie looks at you with a smile and says, That's ok beautiful, I'm here for you, forever and always, I will be by your side no matter what. you hug Georgie. The doctor and Georgie help you into your wheelchair, and Georgie holds your hand as the doctor wheels you to see your mom. When you get into your moms room, you can tell she looks tired, and you have them wheel you next to her bed, and she tries to say something but you cut her off, and say mom, its ok, you can go, ill take care of James, and Taylor, and the babies, I need you to know that ill be ok, and after all these years, of me and you gossiping, about me and Georgie, it's finally happened, me and Georgie are dating you pause for a second and wipe your tears away, you continue talking ...I love you so much mom, everything you tried to do but couldn't, because dad would hit you too, I love you, and always will, its ok for you to go. your moms heart monitor flatline, and you broke down, and Georgie was there, he hugged you, wiped away your tears, and even sang a stupid song in your ear to get you to laugh a little, that's when a different doctor ran in and said We need Y/n in James and Taylors room, James is ok, but Taylor Georgie pulls you into his chest, and covers your ears so you don't hear what the doctors are saying. The doctors start wheeling you out of the room, and take you to your siblings room, when you go in there, you see your sister, and she says hewo sissy your sister smiles at you, and the doctor's wheel you over to your sister as you say hey tay tay, how are you? you call your sister taytay, because you thought it was a cute nickname, your sister says I don't know how I am sissy, I cant feel anything and I see a bright light. you look over at Georgie really quickly, then back to your sister and you say, it's ok tatay, you can go towards the light, mom is over there waiting for you. your sister looks at you with tears in her eyes and says but sissy, I want to be strong for you, I want to fight for you, but im just tired you lean into your sisters bed, and start caressing her hair, and say its ok, taytay, don't waste your energy, ill be ok, I just need you to go with mom, and you'll feel better soon. your sister looks between you, and the invisible light that only she can see, and two apparitions appear from the light, and your sister says are you sure you're going to be ok? I see mom and dad, but I'm scared of leaving you. You say its ok, go with mom and dad.'' As you say that you see your sister nod, and her heart monitor begins to weaken, and you start crying, that's when her spirit tries to run back to the body, when your parents apparition grab her arm, and speak to her. Georgie stands there with you, as you cry, and continue caressing your sister's hair, the doctors call time of death and leave you to be with your sister for a little bit, while they talk to Georgie outside.
