ever since she joined the company, kazuha had always loved yunijn's presence, the way she made her feel- the feeling of comfort and reassurance whenever she was with her. regardless of where she was with her, it was always a memorable experience with her. it took months for her to realize her feelings were just more than that. she just didn't like yunjin, she loved her entire being.

1.

kazuha had seen sakura walking around the company for a while, she seemed to be free so kazuha took up the opportunity to speak to her as she made her way around the corner. "unnie." she watched the latter perk up, finally having something to do after being bored out of her mind for so long. "hey!" she approached the younger, noticing her fiddling with her fingers and strange posture. "something up?" sakura's eyebrows furrowed, kazuha nodded timidly, a sigh escaped her lips, she's been holding this one in for a while. "these past few days, i've been rather.. off- around yunjin at least." she glanced up at the older to see her reaction, she seemed rather calm about it.

"hold on, let's go somewhere quieter." sakura replied, booming music began to play from the practice room over, kazuha subtly nodded, following behind her.

the smoke from her tea arose up from her paper cup, evaporating into the air. kazuha blew faintly, the smoke wavered. "did yunjin do something to make you feel this way? is it bad?" sakura's immediate tone change got kazuha to speak up in a second "no! no, it's.. a good thing- that's what i believe." she shook her head, taking a long sip of her warm drink, which was way too warm for her. "whenever i'm around her, she makes me feel strange, my heart starts beating quickly- i can't speak properly, and then, i can't even look at her without my face feeling like it's burning." kazuha bit the skin of her inner lip, the long pause of silence had the younger gulp several times out of how tense the air felt as she awaited for sakura's idea on what she could be feeling.

"so, you have feelings for yunjin, romantically." she raised an eyebrow, watching kazuha's face get crimson red in mere seconds. "is that how i've been feeling?!" she exclaimed, causing a couple of judging eyes to turn towards her direction. she cleared her throat, taking another long sip, she sheepishly leaned in. "how am i supposed to make this go away?" kazuha murmured, sakura shook her head in response. "you can't, not for a while at least." she leaned back in her seat, legs crossed as she watched her friend go through the 5 stages of grief in this very moment. "how do you think i got with chaew-" before she could continue, a familiar figure appeared behind the other girl. "kazuha!" a cheerful voice boomed, frightening the latter.

kazuha slowly, yet surely, turned around to see yunjin, her bright, puppy-like smile was easy to recognize from miles away. sakura had a smirk dancing on her lips, "hey, we were just talking about you." an evil yet seemingly innocent smile had kazuha glaring at her. "oh? what about me?" yunjin's tone got curious, having kazuha at the brink of tackling sakura before she could say anything. but instead, she chose to- "let's go practice! it's our turn to practice right? sakura, let's go get the others!" in an attempt to change the subject she practically ran from the company cafe, leaving a dumb-founded yunjin and a smug sakura, who feigned ignorance to what just transpired, she wasn't going to tell yunjin either way. she was going to leave that to kazuha to figure out how to do so.

nearly ducking and rolling into the bathroom, kazuha stared at herself in the mirror, after splashing herself with water, she watched the water drip down from her face. "i..love yunjin.." after saying it with uncertainty, she wiped her face down. staring intensely, "i love yunjin." kazuha pursed her lips, watching her ears and face grow redder in her reflection. she took a deep sigh, slapping her cheeks enough for a slight sting, the moment of when kazuha saw yunjin's beaming smile from earlier had the entire thought remaining in her minds as she left the bathroom in a state of bewilderment and adoration.
