Minho's pov:

"What the fuc-"

"LANGUAGE!"

"AAAAHHH!" I swear my heart almost jumped out of my ribcage.

"Chan hyung, what are you doing here?" I saw him standing next to my book shelf.

"You won't let anybody touch your belongings so Her Majesty told me to clean them for you."

"Mind you, it's already clean as fu-"

"LANGUAGE, PRINCE LEE MINHO, LANGUAGE." He won't stop yelling at me for absolutely nothing.

Chan is like an elder brother to me. We've been the best of friends since our childhood as Mr. Bang was a very close friend of my father. He had lost both of his parents due to a terrible accident. My father had taken him in since then.

"Did you go to visit Master Hwang?" He asked.

"Yeah. We started with the portrait too." I replied.

"Oh! That's great!" He exclaimed cheerfully. "Okay, I'll go to Queen Lee now, she was calling for me earlier. Bye, Min."

"Yeah, bye." I nodded at him, watching him leave."

"Now, back to what the fuck was that?" I whispered to myself, scared of Chan shouting at me again. Why was the 'Hyun-guy' half-naked like that and why did I not leave? I had no intention of making him work on the day of his arrival. Also, why was I in his room in the first place?

I shook my head, brushing off my thoughts. Too much thinking will kill me at this point. I went to the balcony and stood there, inhaling some fresh air.

"MINHO HYUNG!!" I did not flinch, I am used to this. It was definitely Felix, judging from the deep voice. I turned around to face him, who was smiling brightly at me.

Lee Felix is my cousin. My father's younger brother's son. He the best brother someone could ever have. He never fails to lift up my mood since he naturally got that bright, sunshine aura. He sat on the couch and patted next to him. I dragged my feet to there and sat down.

"Soo..?" I asked. It had been three whole days since he had visited me last time. Something or the other must have surely taken place.

"Don't ask me anything, hyung. Just sit." He replied sternly. Okay, something has definitely happened.

"Is it about your Squirrel?" I wriggled my eyebrows at him, earning a glare from him. It wasn't scary at all though.

"It's all done," He sighed. "I am sure of it now."

"Lixie, speak clearly. You're confusing me."

"I spoke to Binnie yesterday.. he told me everything. He said that Prince Han thinks I am annoying, he can't stand me, he thinks I am an attention seeker and blah blah." He explained. I wasn't surprised, to be honest.

'Binnie' is Prince Seo Changbin, Prince Han's maternal cousin. Him and Felix are very close friends since their childhood days, as far as I remember.

"But guess what!" He continued. "I am sure he secretly likes me! All enemies to lovers stories start like this. He must be going through his denial phase right now."

Did I mention that Felix is delusional to the point his crush, Han Jisung, would punch him and he'd think he did that because he loves him? I know this does not make sense because it really doesn't.

"By the way, I saw a handsome dude on my way up to your room. He is the painter, isn't he?" He suddenly asked.

"Yeah, that's him." I answered.

"Damn, hyung. How is he?"

"Huh?"

"I mean, how is his skills like? I am sure that he is amazing, because you chose him out of all the other ones. I want my portrait drawn too."

"He's pretty talented, I must say. You can ask him for yours after he completes mine."

"Alright! I'll do that then." He said. "Bye, I'll go now."

He waved at me after standing and and skipping to the door. I wave back mouthing a 'goodbye' to him.

I stared at the wall for some time, contemplating whether I should take a stroll in the garden and check up on my babies, Soonie, Doongi and Dori. I made a separate little house for them to live and play in.

I got up and dragged my feet to there anyway.

I was crouching down in front of my cats while feeding them when I heard someone's gasps and 'aww's behind me. I turned around to see Hyunjin.

"Oh! I'm sorry, your highness. I was just getting some fresh air and admiring the beautiful royal garden when I spotted you." He bowed at me.

"Oh no, it's fine." I assured him.

"What are their names?" He asked while looking at my cats.

"The one with the black fur is Dori, the one nibbling on the wool ball is Soonie and the one beside him is Doongie." I answered.

"Those are cute names! Just like them." He looked so happy while staring at them.

"Did you ever have any pets?" I asked him in order to not make it awkward.

"Yes, I did. His name is Kkami, he is a chihuahua." He said with a small smile.

"Where is he now?" I got curious and asked him, again.

"Well.. I had to send him to my aunt's. Our financial condition got worse after my mom got sick so I had to work many jobs. There was no one to look after and feed my little Kkami. I miss him a lot..." He trailed off.

"You can bring him here while you're at your stay. We have plenty of people to look after him. " I offered, making his eyes widen.

"It's okay, your highness. I do not want to cause trouble." He tried to deny.

"I insist. Moreover, he won't be troubling me. I really love animals." He stated.

His eyes remained wide open for a moment before turning into crescent shaped, as soon as he smiled at me.

"Thank you so much, your highness."
