Dakota and Ethan sat down outside of campus with, tara, sam, Mindy, tay, chad, Anika and Quinn while Mindy stood around the group preparing herself for some sort of speech.
"ok nerds listen up" Mindy speaks standing in front of everyone "although this is all terrifying blah blah im actually glad I get to redeem myself this time as I didnt call the killers last time, but its fine"
Ethan looks over at Dakota who gives him an unsure shrug as she has no idea whats about to come out of Mindys mouth.
"the way I see it someone is out to make a sequel to the requel" Mindy says as anika rises her hand.
"uh whats a requel"
"your beautiful sweetie lets hold questions to the end" Mindy says and anika gives her an unsure smile.
"stab one was in woodsboro and stab two was at a collage" sam speaks up and Mindy nods
"so do you think the killer is trying to copy the movies" tara asks as Mindy points to her
"that is a possibility the survivors now in collage check, suspicious new characters brought in to round out the suspect list, check, check and check" Mindy says pointing as Ethan as he looks down at the ground.
"I really dont like this" he says as Dakota places her hand on this thigh making him slightly smile.
"its fine dont worry"
"but it cant just only be about stab two"
"why not" Dakota asks
"it would make sense if this was just a sequel but were not in a sequel" Mindy says as she takes a break and everyone looks at each other "were in a franchise" Mindy says out loud waving her hands up.
"wait a franchise like, halloween, Friday the 13th, nightmare on elm street" tay asks and Mindy nods
"correct and there a rules to a franchise"
"I had a feeling" sam mumbles looking down at the floor
"rule one: everything is much bigger, bigger budgets, bigger cast, bigger body count, longer chases, shootings, beheadings you gotta top from last time to stop people from coming back"
"beheadings" chad asks looking up from his book
"beheadings" Mindy confirms "rule two: whatever happened last time you gotta expect the opposite if the killers last time were whiny snowflake films nerds with letter box to counts instead of personalitys you can bet the opposite will be true here"
as Mindy mentioned the killers from last time Ethan raised his eye brows looking down at the ground leaving Dakota slightly confused when she noticed.
"and rule three: no one is safe legacy characters aren't safe at this point usually brought back to be killed in some cheap crappy way"
"wait so my mom" Dakota asks and Mindy nods
"yes, its not looking to good for gale or even Kirby oh and thats not even the worst part"
