Epilogue

Kamari's POV:

6 months later:

For the past 2 weeks I've been feeling sick and nauseous. I keep throwing up and I have the most weirdest cravings a woman could ever possibly have.

Aaron was taking care of his mafia business and I didn't want to disturb him so I called Maria to come over and keep me company.

10 minutes later:

"Kamari, you've been throwing up ever since I came over, let's get you checked out by a doctor." Maria had a point but I just didn't want to go and worry Aaron when he came back home.

"No it's fine, I think I'm probably getting my period and that's it." I added.

"Or maybe you're pregnant." Maria blurted and I froze looking up at her.

"Don't be ridiculous girl, it's probably not even that. Just my period." I chuckled and again I threw up.

"That's it i don't care what you think I'm calling Lexi and telling her to bring a pregnancy test over." She took her phone out and dialled Lexi's number and i didn't even have time to say anything because she has already left the bathroom, leaving me to throw up even more.

20 minutes later

"Kamari here Lexi is here and she brought the pregnancy test. Now go in the bathroom and do it." Maria handed me the box of pregnancy test.

"Oh and by the way use both just to make sure." Lexi nodded at me and gave me the look of  'don't be stubborn and listen'.

I didn't even bother arguing back with them and just did what they told me.

A few minutes has passed since I took both tests and it was finally time to check and find out why I've been feeling so sick lately.

I looked at both tests and scanning them properly and my eyes nearly came out of my sockets.

There's no way I'm pregnant. What will Aaron think? Does he even want kids? Would he leave me? Oh my goodness I'm so scared.

A gentle knock on the door was heard and I'm assuming it was one of the girls. "Kamari, are you done? You've been in there for a while now." Maria spoke from the other side of the door.

I didn't say anything I just made my way to the door and unlocked it revealing a concerned Maria and Lexi at the door.

"And? What's the results?" Lexi spoke so eager to find out if i was pregnant or not.

"It's positive." I said in a low voice.

Both girls was so happy and jumping up and down from the news.

"Kamari why are you sad? It's supposed to be good news. You're becoming a mother and Aaron a father and we are gonna be the best aunts out there." They smiled at each other and looked back at me.

"What if he doesn't want a kid? What if he will leave me and the baby?" I asked concerned not knowing how he will react after he finds out I'm carrying his child.

"Kamari trust me, he's always wanted to start a family of his own and have his own kids to love them. I know this because I'm his sister and before meeting you, we would always talk about our future and how we want it to be. As his sister, you shouldn't be afraid because his number one wish was to have a family of his own." Maria reassured me with her words and a smile left my lips with a tear rolling down my cheek.
