CHAPTER 13 Brooke's POV

"Hey Brooke, where's Liam? Are you guys ready to go?" Harry asks as I walk into the lobby seeing the big group including Lou and El waiting on Liam and I.  

"I'm ready. I don't know about Liam, and I honestly don't care." I say angrily.  

"Umm okay... I'll find out what's going on later. But we have to leave now if we don't want to miss our reservations- oh good there you are" Harry says looking past me, but his happy expression soon turns to confusion. I turn around only to see Liam with Danielle trailing closely behind.  

Liam walks up and whispers something into Harry's ear before walking out the door and getting into the waiting limo.  

Harry turns giving me a sympathetic smile before herding us all out to the car.  

I make sure to sit as far from the cheater as possible.  

I end up next to Eleanor. She seems nice enough maybe we'll be friends.

At the restaurant the odds are against me and I'm say right next to Liam and an all too flirty Danielle on his other side.

Soon after we order our food I feel a hand placed on mine. "Can we talk?" He asks. I look up to meet his beautiful chocolate brown eyes "there's nothing to talk about." I say firmly. "Yes there is and you know it." He responds. "No. There's not Liam. We weren't even dating. I'm still going back to England with you guys but as of right now I am not your friend or anything more than that. I'm a stranger to you. And we're going to keep it that way." I say my voice rising. He looks hurt at my words and tears are forming in his eyes. "Brooke, please just hear me out." He pleads. I simply shake my head and turn to a passing waitress "can you call me a cab?" I ask. "Yes come with me." She says smiling.  

"I'll go with you." Liam says standing up. "I shouldn't go places with strangers." I say coldly.  

"Brooke please don't do this." He pleads tears now streaming down his face.  

"Goodbye Liam." I say walking away.

Minutes later the cab arrives and I tell him to take me to the hotel where I'm going to rent a new room.  

And in the back of that can is where I finally let the tears fall...
