chapter 21 Kimmie's POV
"That you what?" Niall asks smiling like mad now.
"That I like him!" I exclaim then slam a hand over my mouth. Niall looks at me happily, with a big grin on his face.
"You can't tell him Horan!" I say.
"Why not?! He obviously likes you too!" Niall says.
"Because, he'll eventually find someone better and prettier than me and I don't want to go through that kind of heartbreak." I say saddly finally admitting why I had been pushing him away.
"You don't know that Kimmie. Life is full of mistakes, but it's also full of great things. How do you know Harry won't be the best thing that's ever happened to you? You won't know unless you give him a chance." Niall says putting a hand on my shoulder.
"You're right Ni, but what if he is the best thing that happens to me, and then he decides he wants someone else?" I ask my eyes filling with tears.
"Then so what. Everything happens for a reason right?" Niall replies. "I guess..." I say unsure.
"Then go talk to him." He says.
"I can't. It's late." I say.
"He's still up. Trust me." He says.
"Ok... Fine." I say standing and walking to the door.
"Good luck!" Niall says as I close the door behind me.
I take the few steps it takes to get to Harry's flat... I hesitantly knock on the door and wait...
"Hello-Kimmie?" He asks once he opens the door.
"Uhh... Hi, can I come in?" I ask quietly.
"Erm, yeah." He says opening the door wider and leading the way to the living room.
"Do you want a drink?" Harry asks.
"Yeah, just water." I say. He walks to the kitchen coming back with two glasses and takes a seat on the couch next to me.
"Harry, I need to talk to you." I say.
"Ok?" Harry replies.
"Um so I don't know if you know this, but I don't hate you!" I say laughin nervously.
"Erm... Good to know?" He says scrunching up his eyebrows.
"Ok, I'm just gonna come out and say it. No holding back. Harry, I-Uh-I like you. Um more than a friend." I say stumbling over my words and laughing nervously.
He starts choking on the water he had just taken a sip of. When he recovers he looks at me with wide eyes.
"What!?" He chokes out.
