Missing her hands

Authors POV

The time stopped but sadly she lost balance and the eye contact they had was gone. Y/n couldn't believe she embarrassed herself in front of her crush..

Ni-ki looks down to meet her eyes and he held out a hand. „Are you okay?" A small smile was seen on his face and Y/n just wanted to disappear.

He stretched out his hand to her and she accepted it. He helped her up and she lost balance again but Ni-ki gladly held her steady on time.

She let out a nervous laugh. „Thank you." He smiled at her, took her hand and looked at them. Ni-ki saw the way their hands intertwined and looked at Y/n who was looking down because of embarrassment.

He let out a chuckle, finding her cute how shy she was and the bobble hat makes it even more cuter.

„Wanna skate together? I can help you." He offered with a warm smile.

Y/n smiled a little and nod, she took a deep breath to calm her nerves. „It's okay, you can do it. Just focus on skating." He tried cheering her up and she hummed in response.

They started to skate together, slowly of course he wouldn't want Y/n to fall down again. „Ni-ki.." Y/n started and kept looking in front of her. „Thank you for helping me, really. I appreciate it. And thank you for not laughing at me when I fell down."

He smiled, never letting go of her hand. „Of course, it's my pleasure. But you sure looked a bit funny down there." He chuckled and Y/n slightly slapped his arm with her free hand.

„Ouch!" He jokingly said and rubbed his arm where she hit him. „Don't be so dramatic." She rolled her eyes and smiled.

Both continued to skate hand in hand like a real couple and both were quite the whole time. Ni-ki was glad he asked her to help her with skating, it made him happy to spend time with her.

Y/n was still really nervous, her plan was to not think about him on this whole trip but he's all she could think about. It's not like she hated it but she's scared. Scared of falling more for him and getting hurt in the end.

He looked at her, his eyes softened, something she didn't knew he could do. But she somehow felt safe next to him, she shut her eyes literally screaming inside her head. She wanted to stop being nervous and shy.

His eyebrows furrowed at the sight of her and they stopped skating for a moment. „Is something wrong? Do you want me to leave you alone?"

Ni-ki was worried but Y/n shook her head. „I'm all fine, thank you." She mumbled and he nod.

Awkward silence.

Ni-ki cleared his throat and took both of her hands. She looked up at him with a questionable face and he just smiled at her. He started to stake backwards so Y/n could skate to his direction.

She smiled nervously, trying to stay calm but her heart only beats faster. „Just how can he make my heart face this fast?"

„So.." Ni-ki spoke up and Y/n was only focused on her skates, not really paying attention. „No wait, dwarf. You need to look straight ahead of you or else you'll trip again. If you only look at your skates you don't know what's in front of you."

Y/n did so as he told her to look in front of her and she could only let out a tiny chuckle. „The only thing I see is your chest." He rolled his eyes and smiled a little. „Then look at me."

She felt her cheeks heat up a little, this would only make her more nervous and the probability to trip is higher but she still looked at him. He saw her cheeks are a little red and noticed that she got a little shy because of what he said.

He smiled and they continued to skate. Ni-ki tried again. „So Y/n I wanted- " He got interrupted by a voice from afar and Y/n's head turned to the side, seeing Eunchae calling her name.

Ni-ki just wanted to let out a groan for getting interrupted. „Y/n let's skate together! I'm bored, Taki and Daniel are making a skating race, let's skate with them!"

Y/n smiled and nod, then looking at her and his hands and lastly up to him. „I'll go." He just nod and let go of her hands, already missing her hands in his.

He watched her skate alone, pretty good already. He turned around and skated to Jungwon and Sunoo. „How was it?" Sunoo asked with a mischievous grin.

Ni-ki rolled his eyes and let out a loud groan. „Hey hey hey, whats wrong?" Jungwon asked with his eyebrows furrowed. „I wanted to ask her but I couldn't."

Now it's Sunoo's eyebrows that are furrowed. „What did you wanted to ask her?" Ni-ki looked at him in disbelief. „Are you serious? Did you forget that I wanted to ask her to meet me at the rooftop so I can confess to her in some way?"

Sunoo's eyes widened and he remembered what Ni-ki told him yesterday. „Riiight.. I totally forgot but I didn't know you would ask her now."

„Well it's the only right time to ask her no?" Jungwon told Sunoo and Ni-ki nod. „Maybe I'll just send her a text then.." Sunoo shook his head. „Not a text. Call her, it's much better."

Ni-ki was unsure but since Sunoo is an expert he trusted him.

Sunoo gave Ni-ki both thumbs up. „You can do it Riki, just believe in yourself! And don't forget we're helping you!" Jungwon nod to Sunoo's words and Ni-ki smiled at his hyungs and thanked them.

Soon the teacher announced that they have to leave and they went back to the hotel all together. Y/n and Eunchae went straight to their room to get some rest.

„Y/n! Tell me about you and Ni-ki, I need to know everything!" Y/n let out a big sigh, took the pillow and smashed her face onto it.

Eunchae laughed and hugged her own pillow. „Awww cmon!! Tell me what you guys talked about and how it went!"

Y/n separated her face from the pillow and looked at her with an exhausted expression. „You really wanna know?" Eunchae eagerly nod.

„Fine.. Well we held hands which made me really nervous and all." Eunchae let out a „Ohhh~" and grinned at her.

Y/n rolled her eyes and shook her head. „I think that's enough you're just teasing me." Eunchae shook her head and acted as if she was hurt.

„How could you say that? I'm not teasing you! I'm just being supportive you know.."

Y/n just let out a laugh and threw her pillow at Eunchae. After that Y/n told her everything about what happened with Ni-ki and how she felt.

„So you're telling me he was trying to say something but couldn't?"

„Yep.. Do you think it was something important?" Right then noises from the door were to be heard. Eunchae sat up and opened the door, only to be meet with Daniel and Taki. „Hey guys!"

Y/n turned around and greeted them. „What where you guys doing?" Daniel asked the both girls and Eunchae glanced at Y/n and she shook her head.

„We were talking about girls stuff. None of your business!" Eunchae smiled and closed the door.

The boys shared glances, knowing what the two girls were talking about but stayed silent. Y/n's phone ks vibrating, meaning someone's calling her.

So she took her phone and as soon as she saw the name on her display she looked to Eunchae with her eyes widening.

She was speechless and nervous at the same time. Eunchae was confused why she looked so shocked. The boys meanwhile sat down on their bed and talked.

Y/n pointed at her phone and mouthed Ni-ki's name and Eunchae immediately understood and smiled happily.
