AUTHOR'S NOTE: Heyy, I just wanted to say that this chapter is necessary to read because even though it's based on the OVA (special episode) "Rescue Training," it's very relevant to Haiyoru's story ;)).

It takes place right after Season 1 (well, actually a bit further ahead, but I'm not sure exactly when, so I'll put it here since the 2nd season starts before this). Obviously, you can still read it without watching the OVA because it will still be understood, but I recommend doing so because it's really cool ;)).

That being said, let's begin ;P...

~

It had been a few days since the villains' attack, during which I had gotten to know my classmates much better.

When I arrive in class, I don't know why, but I usually say, "GOOD MORNING!" while Aizawa (who currently has bandages all over his body like a mummy after the villains' attack) looks at me as if I was crazy, and some, like Denki, Kirishima, Sero, Ochako, and Mina among others depending on the day, play along and respond the same way. I hop to my desk while greeting everyone. At first, my morning energy probably scared them, but with some time, they got used to it, and now I manage to bring a smile to their faces. I reach my desk and turn to look at Todoroki. I have also gotten into the habit of doing that and giving him a smile to see his confused face and try to encourage him to make friends that day (I haven't succeeded yet, I'm a failure).

Today, after this long period, we were going to do rescue training again, or rather, we were going to try doing rescue training again, but this time without villains involved.

"There will be three students at the bottom of the ravine," Thirteen was telling us, "one of them will be unconscious, another will have an injured leg, and the other will be very worried."

Kirishima, Denki, and I looked over the edge of the ravine.

"There's a lot of height!"

"How will we get there?"

"What are you saying?" Iida says, appearing at full speed. He quickly peeks into the ravine. "Are you okay? Don't worry, we'll save you!" Screams to literally no one, since nobody is down there yet.

"Let's save them! Let's do our best, Deku!" I hear Uraraka say. I stand up and approach them enthusiastically.

"We'll definitely do great!" I add optimistically. The first test had Izuku, Uraraka, and Iida as victims, and Katsuki, Todoroki, Momo, and Tokoyami as heroes. With that group, even though my brother wanted to blow up the mountain, it was obvious they would do great. Turns passed, and finally, it was my turn with Denki, Tsuyu, and Mina.

"Well, the first thing would be to calm the injured," says Denki, trying to imitate Yaomomo. "Don't worry, you're not going to die!" he shouts at Jiro, Todoroki, and Mineta.

"What a way to cheer them up," Tsuyu tells him. I approach the ravine trembling and nervously swallowing as I see how high it is.

"Are you okay?" Mina asks me.

"I-I'm fine... It's just that I'm afraid of heights..." I go to pick up some things from the equipment we have while the others don't understand what I'm doing.

"Afraid of heights? Don't you transform into an eagle and fly?" Denki remarks. I ignore his question and take a deep breath. I step back.

"What are you planning?" Tsuyu asks. When I'm far enough away, I turn back towards the ravine. Everyone looks at me without understanding. I breathe again and close my eyes to relax and not lose my nerves. I run without hesitation and jump into the ravine. Building up momentum helps me not to get scared at the last second and do it without thinking too much.
