They all enter running while I hadn't even had time to blink, and when I realize it, I was the only one still outside.
"Damn it." I transform into a wolf and quickly catch up with the majority. I rush inside and start taking down every robot I come across. Thanks to my quirk, I can transform into a cat (the first animal I learned), an eagle, and a wolf. To transform into an animal, I need to have a lot of information about it and know it by heart, so I'm quite knowledgeable about animal biology. However, in the years I've been practicing, I've only managed to transform into these three, and I can't think of any other useful animals at the moment. I learned to transform into an eagle to make transportation, spying, and evading attacks easier. Additionally, I can transform parts of my body into animals, which is much simpler. For example, I can transform my pupils into cat eyes to see in the dark, or have cat claws, which I can make as big as I want. I usually have cat ears as well since it doesn't bother me and provides me with acute hearing. My maximum number of transformations is six times per day, which I've improved since I used to only manage four. When I transform for the seventh time, my body runs out of energy, and I suddenly fall asleep.
I defeat and dodge by transforming from human to animal with reflexes I've acquired from living with my brother, who has been blasting me with explosions since we were little, providing me with intensive training over the years. I transform into an eagle to locate the level three robots, which are the most sought after because they give the most points. I spot one and dive towards it, but before I can defeat it, a blond guy appears and destroys the robot with an electric charge. I get angry; he stole my prey. I transform back into a human so I can talk to him.
"Idiot, that was mine!" I snap at him.
"Well, well, look at that, a girl, and a beautiful one at that! I'm sorry, gorgeous, but I can't leave a single robot for you. But don't worry, I can make it up to you by inviting you for a drink later."
"Screw you!" I see another level three robot. "You won't take this one from me!" I run quickly, and he tries to catch up, but it's futile. I transform back into a wolf and take down the robot in less than four seconds.
"Wow!" I hear him say. I feel satisfied knowing that I've impressed him. People glance at me for a moment, and I move away from there.
I hear Present Mic shout that there are only two minutes left. I transform back into a human and feel dizzy. Damn it, I've transformed seven times without realizing it; I'm such an idiot.
My body feels heavy, and I start feeling even more lightheaded. My vision blurs, and I feel unable to stand. I hear a loud noise. It's a huge robot, the one worth zero points and better to avoid.
It... it's enormous.
"I have to... I have to move..." I try to take a step, but I collapse to the ground, and everything goes black.

"You, extra, get out of the way," I hear my brother's voice. "This useless girl, imagine reaching her limit just as the robot appears."
I hear it as if I'm in a bubble, distant and muffled. It's the familiar sensation I feel when I'm partially awake.
"Does anyone have chocolate?" I hear my brother shout. "Unbelievable, she didn't even consider that this could happen; she's such an idiot."
I feel someone picking me up, and I squirm. I want to keep sleeping.
"Five more minutes..." I mumble in my half-asleep state. I'm partially aware, just listening and sensing, but I still can't move because my body is still asleep. Katsuki carries me on his back and walks away with me.
"It's the girl from earlier! Is she okay?" I hear Jiro's voice.
"Why do you care?" My brother replies without stopping. I fall asleep again.

Sniff sniff
Mmm... Chocolate.
I wake up and see Katsuki holding a chocolate bar under my nose. He looks bored and annoyed with me. I'm sitting on the ground next to a vending machine. I'm about to take a bite of the bar, but Katsuki snatches it and devours it in two bites.
"Hey!" I say, offended.
"I deserve it for carrying you. You're so heavy that I had to wake you up by buying a chocolate bar on the street before we got home."
"Screw you." I know I'm not heavy; he probably just wanted a chocolate bar for himself. I quickly get up but immediately crouch down again due to dizziness.
"You idiot, you never learn that you can't get up that fast," he says.
"Leave me alone, I'm tired." I walk away on my own; I'm too tired to start a fight with him.
I feel like the test went pretty well, but it was a complete failure to end up collapsed on the ground. I wonder who rescued me. And I hope that pathetic ending doesn't affect my score.

A week passes, during which I spend my time walking back and forth. During the test, I was so clever not to keep track of the points I was accumulating, so I didn't know if it would be enough. My parents kept trying to reassure me, saying that I surely got in, while my brother told me to stop crying and accept that if I didn't get in, I had to deal with it. One afternoon, my mother enters the living room holding two letters. Katsuki and I are lying on the couch, watching something on the TV.
"They've arrived! The letters have arrived!" she excitedly exclaims. Dad rushes into the living room too. Katsuki and I jump up to grab our respective letters. They announce that both of us have been accepted. I feel my legs go weak, and I kneel on the floor.
I let out a muffled scream of excitement.
"Hah, I knew I would be accepted," Katsuki comments with a tone of superiority.
"We're so proud of both of you," Dad says, unable to hide his emotions.
I hug Mom and Dad. I look at Katsuki, signaling for him to come closer.
"Tch, no way, loser," he pretends to leave, but my mother grabs him forcefully and makes him join the hug. He struggles, but in the end, he gives up.
