Being a Curtis seemed like one of the best things that could've happened to you as a greaser. All four children had a set of two loving parents and a cozy home that was filled with love 24/7. Three boys, one girl, and an insanely in love couple was enough to make everyone in Tulsa, Oklahoma, drop their jaws to the floor.

"Mommy, Mommy!" Sodapop exclaimed, tugging on his mother's dress.

"Yes, Sodapop?" Mrs. Curtis asked, kneeling down to the six year old's height.

"Can you take us to the park?" He asked, smiling brightly showcasing the two gaps in the front of his mouth where he'd lost his two front teeth.

"I don't see why not, my love. Go get your father and your siblings and tell them to get ready." She smiled, booping her son's nose.

"Okay, Mommy!" He yelled loudly, running away to go let his sister know his plan worked.

Mrs. Curtis knew he was running to his twin sister, Bradley, first. Those two kids were closer than any other duo of children she'd ever seen. Anytime you'd see Soda getting picked on, there was Bradley standing tall in front of her brother. You could tell she was older (even if it was only by fifteen minutes), by the protectiveness she held over Sodapop.

After a couple minutes all four kids walked into the living room, shoes on their feet and smiling with joy. Mr. Curtis stood behind them looking at his wife, love glowing on his face. Mrs. Curtis blushed slightly at her husband. No matter how many years the two had been together he always made her blush madly.

"All right. Are we ready to go?" Mrs. Curtis asked her children. They all nodded their heads and bolted out of the house.

"Hey! Stay close when we're walking!" Mr. Curtis yelled, strictly.

He didn't like yelling at his kids, not one bit, but they were in a rough part of town and the last thing they wanted was for one of the kids to get hurt. Darry slowed to a halt along with Ponyboy while the twins continued to run.

"Bradley and Sodapop, you stop right now!" Their father yelled, causing both to slow and turn around a few feet away from him.

"You two need to listen when I tell you to stop. You two could get swooped up in a heartbeat if you're not with me or your mother." Mr. Curtis said. "Now, you're going to hold my hands till we get to the park so I can ensure you don't run off. Are we clear?"

"Yes, Daddy." They both said, nodding their heads as they each took a hold of their father's hand.

The family of six all walked to the park, Mrs. Curtis held Ponyboy on her hip while her husband held the twins' hands tightly in his own. Darry, their oldest, walked in the middle of his mother and Bradley tightly holding Bradley's unoccupied hand, knowing she was the one most vulnerable, and holding his mother's in the other. They were a strand of people walking down the deserted Tulsa road, smiling and laughing at Pony's blabbering.

"Daddy?" Bradley said, looking up at her father.

"Yes, Princess?" He asked, meeting eye contact with his daughter.

"Can I let go now?" She asked, glancing at the park in the corner of her eye.

"Okay, but be careful not to-" he started but was immediately cut off by the six year old smacking down on the pavement.

"Fall." He finished, shaking his head at the girl.

"I'm okay!" She exclaimed, getting up and running to the swings, Darry and Sodapop following her.

"What're we gonna do with her, huh?" Mr. Curtis remarked, sitting on a bench beside his wife and youngest son.

"I don't know." Mrs. Curtis chuckled, bouncing the three year old on her knee.

"She's going to rule the world one day." He smiled, watching as his daughter ordered her brothers around.

"Yes she is." Mrs. Curtis said, smiling at the love that was shown on her husband's face anytime Bradley was mentioned.

And that's exactly what Bradley did. This is just the story of how she did it.
