"Meow! Meow!" Willow calls to go outside onto the deck. I stop eating my lunch and let her out. 'She's going to be out there for a while' I think to myself, so I sit back down and start listening to the DnD podcast I've been stuck into for a while now. The characters are just becoming pirates after taking the villain's ship. Out of the corner of my eye I see a little spider that I decide to put outside before my mum sees it. It was just a little precious brown garden spider. Couldn't hurt a fly! I come back only to see Willow on her belly crawling across the deck. It was quite amusing. She usually does this when she sees a spider or bug she wants to play with then eat. Grose, I know. I didn't see anything that she would want to get though.

She quickly runs behind the leg of a chair from the outdoor dining area. I see something outside the blinds on the deck. Willow quickly drops her body to the ground and slowly crawls up to where she can smell the giant beast. They move toward each other slowly, until they are straining their noses out to each other, they both move forward stretching their noses out until they touch them through the blinds, suddenly Willow jumps high in the air and emits an ear piercing Meow, the beast jumps back in fright not knowing what just happened.

Willow slowly crawls back up to where the giant rat was, but it's already jumped away in fright down onto the grass below. She's confused and comes back to the door asking to come back in and I let her back in. For the rest of the day Willow is looking out for these giant beasts that hop away, with long tails and Joey's in their pouch.
