"who are they?" soojin asked
she and her parents were at the table with the tv on, watching the evening news
soojin had already eaten but was still sitting at the table with them
her father looked at her confused until the blonde raised her arm pointing to the house opposite
"oh.." the man swallowed his bite
"mr yeh rented the house, he won't be here for long"soojin nodded even if she still couldn't give herself a logical explanation
the girl who got out of the car was blue, her blue
she wanted to share her thoughts with her parents, they knew blue and were used to seeing the drawing of her
they had always indulged soojin, unlike many parents who would normally take their daughter to a psychotherapist as soon as they heard her talking to herself
"the man who moved has a daughter right?"
the mother nodded again with her mouth full, not really paying attention to her daughter's words
"well, it will seem strange to you but.. she's identical to blue"
both her mother and father glared at her
"honey, who's blue?"
--
it was gone.
the drawing that soojin jealously guarded was gone
the blonde had spent the evening looking for it in vain but it seems like it had vanished.
it was hard for her to sleep without feeling blue's eyes protect her from nightmares
she felt abandoned, and could not explain all the events connected with her imaginary friend
maybe she was just growing up and suddlendly stopped thinking about these things, or blue had turned into a real girl.
"blue?" the blonde whispered in the darkness of her room
"blue, are you there?" she received no answer and it was strange since the chats with the black-haired girl were nothing more than a figment of her imagination
she didn't know what was happening and what had changed from one moment to the next, but she wanted explanations.
