The Next Day

The Loud family sat in silence in the living room.

Rita and Lynn just stared at the space where Lincoln use to sit.

Their memories of their baby boy flooded their minds.

What were they thinking?

Kicking out a child for bad luck.

Lincoln was gone and he must hate them.

Suddenly the television switches on to a sport game.

Lynn Jr had turned on the television.

Her eye was bandaged and most of her body as well, Luna had truly beaten her up badly.

"Why is that television now, Lynn." Luna said in a sickingly sweet tone from behind Lynn who started to shake in fear.

"No.....no reason just wanted to watch the game." She started to explain herself to her angry older sister who was not buying it.

Luna smiles sweetly before taking the remote and shutting off the television before she broke the remote in half.

"None of you deserve this television so suffer in silence and think about what you have done." Luna hissed, her fake sweet persona was gone.

Lynn looked like she wanted to argue back with her but when she remembered what Luna was capable of doing to her, she stopped herself.

"Luna, like where are you going?" Lori asked her from her spot on the couch.

"It's like literally none of your business and I remember you asking Lincoln where he was going when he left or wait you were glad he was gone." Luna started off by mocking Lori.

Lori blushed but says nothing as Luna stomps out of the house.

"Luna is starting to scare me." Lana whined as Charles nodded next to her.

"This is all ways known to man, your own fault DNA sharers. You all know that there is nothing as bad luck but the human mind is so powerful that if it believes in something so shall it be." Lisa informed them as she too was walking out of the house with Leni, Luna and Lily walking after her.

Rita looked down, she couldn't bare to see the hate in their daughters' eyes.

Lisa and the others walked out the door to see Luna hugging Bun Bun as tears felt from her face. Lisa though she did not understand emotions like her other siblings did understand that Luna was hurting and lashing out at the ones who hurt her brother whom he loved almost more than life itself.

Leni patted her back as Lily climbed onto her lap to wipe her tears.

Luna had stopped smiling and her eyes once bright and filled with happiness was now dull and lifeless.

She wanted her next smile, her happiness, her love to be for Lincoln and her siblings.

Lucy noted that Luna had it difficult because she cared about Lincoln the most and now that Lincoln was gone, she feels empty inside.

Lynn Sr looked at the scene from the inside of the house.

What have they really done?

Not only did they lose their only son but also some of their daughters.

Luna looked so depressed, it broke his already broken heart.

Lynn Sr remembered how his father favored his brother over him.

It hurt when he thought about it even to this day.

Was that how Lincoln felt?

He just proved that he was no better than his father.

Lynn looked down.

He was truly a horrible parent.
