(For those who don't/can't celebrate Christmas, this chapter has few mentions of it and will not change the story if you skip anything to do with it)

Location: Your room

It was finally Winter Break and you were packing all your important items in your rucksack. You didn't need to take many clothes as you were going to be wearing your knight uniform for most of the Break.

There was a knock on the door. "Come in!" you called, making sure everything was packed.

Leona walked in, glancing around the room. "You done?"

You nodded, looking up at him and standing up. You slung the bag over your shoulders and walked over to him. "Not bringing anything other than your phone, I presume?" you asked him, to which he nodded.

He led you out of the room, towards the mirror chamber.

Location: Mirror Chamber

The two of you overheard Jack and the other first years talking about how Ruggie might've been raised in the slums. Leona walked over to them, "Hmph, the mere thought of a feeding frenzy gives me the willies."

You chuckled at his choice of wording.

"I can barely stand the noise of one kid as it is."
"Does that mean you're skipping out on visiting your family, Leona?" Jack asked

"Bah, I wish. They'd give me never-ending grief if I did. I'm going."

"You're not bringing anything though?"
"I have my wallet and smartphone. What else do I need? I have clothes at home."

"You're not even bringing your homework are you?" Ace sighed

"Homework can wait until after break. Holidays are for resting. See ya."
"We'll see you after break, happy holidays." you turn to follow Leona into the dark mirror, leading the two of you to the fountain of the Sunset Savannah.

Location: Sunset Savannah - Town Square

A fountain showed a lion cub with animals around it, celebrating the cub's birth. It was created when you first started living with the Kingscholar's.

It brought you back memories from when they took you in. However, that was a different story for Leona. He never liked the fountain that much, due to it being built because of his nephew's birth. A sign that he would never be king.

As soon as you arrived back into the Sunset Savannah, you were greeted by the Royal Chamberlain, Kifaji, who took care of Leona when he was younger.

"Ah, it seems that you two have arrived." Kifaji addresses
"Yeah yeah, can we just go back to the palace?" Leona yawns, wanting to just get back and stay in his room for the most of the holidays.
"Oh, no no, you're going to be buying Christmas gifts for your family." Kifaji scolds.

"Ugh, I can do that later. I wanna to that lousy palace already." Leona complains.
"Leona, you should just buy the gifts now so it's over and done with. It's not like his highness wants anything specific." You tell him. "It should be easy to buy something for her highness and Cheka. And.. your parents would be grateful with anything as well." You inform.
"Sometimes I think you know more about my family than I do.." Leona deadpans.
"That's because you don't spend enough time with your elder brother. Oh, do you hate your family that much?" Kifaji slightly teases.

"Oh quiet, Kifaji. Fine. I guess I'll buy gifts for 'em" Leona groans, immediately speeding towards the shopping centre.

You and Kifaji followed behind him as you were supporting him to catch up with Leona's quick legs.
