Blanes Pov:

"c'mon Blane wake up! Were going out for breakfast because it's the weekend" I hear Charlie say as she shakes me awake "what time is it?" I mumble opening my eyes "8:54 now lets go" I nod and go to wash my face to get rid of the sleep in my eyes. "were going to Wendy's for breakfast" Charlie says while brushing her teeth "ok" I say and walk out of the bathroom.

*five minutes later*

Me and Charlie are in her car following her mom to Wendy's "so did you sleep good? Sorry for passing out mid movie, I didn't finish the bracelets either" Charlie says and I nod "it was good, and it's ok" I quietly state still sleepy and I yawn, still trying to wake up Charlie glances at me for a second and then turns back to the road "why don't we listen to some of your music now?" I nod and take out my phone, we connect to blue tooth and I scroll through my playlist.

"here we go" I whisper and tap the song 'no surprises' by Radiohead

Clearly Charlie knows the song because she says "this is a good pick" and continues driving and I only nod in response.

We turn a right and park into Wendy's, me and Charlie walk out and into the restaurant with her mom. We take our orders and get led to our table, as we sit down Charlie chooses to sit down next me, "honey please eat the food this time ok? Don't pretend your full off of three fries please?" Her mom states and looks at me "did she tell you Blane?" she asks and I shake my head no, "mom I don't think-" Charlie starts to say but gets cut off by her mom "Charlie has ED, and as her friend I think you should know" her mom says, I look at her then to Charlie "what?" I say "really?" I ask again "Blane I didn't wanna ruin the moment" Charlie says looking down at the table then looks at me.

*ten minutes later*

After that we all ate our meals, But Charlie only had some hashbrowns. We walked out and her mom said she'd be at home, me and Charlie agreed we'd go hang out somewhere, ugh sometimes I hate going places but she insisted we go to check out this crystal place that opened a couple months ago.

"so...you don't.....think of me as some...attention seeker?" Charlie asks as we both got in her car and started leaving, I shake my head and look at her for a minute "no" I whisper just enough for her to hear me and she nods "thank you, your very non-judgmental" she says and I don't respond "so you like crystals?" I ask changing the subject, "yea I think they're beautiful and some of them help with energy and protection" she nods "you believe that?" I ask not trying to be rude but I don't really think rocks are magical.

"umm yea! I have a couple energy rocks that keep me on my tracks, like positive thinking and stuff, maybe you'll find one that you might need, like a talking rock!" She giggles at that and I shrug getting annoyed, I just don't like talking when I feel I shouldn't say anything. I hate people in general and the world is full of rude ones, I try not to be like them, it's hard not to when they are all rude, except........except her, I can say full sentences around her and she'll listen to every word.

"I don't need a talking crystal when no one listens" I mumble, "I do" Charlie says.
