In a flash they appeared in front of an old looking building, the words 'Super Star Lanes Bowling' painted in a big, blocky font on its side.

As expected, they were the first to arrive, heading in the neon lit, retro themed bowling alley and, after a short argument with one of the workers, taking a seat at one of the lanes. A loud party of kids in the lane one over from them seemed to be having a birthday celebration, letting out loud cheers whenever one of them managed a strike.

Eventually, the rest of the siblings filed in, Luther the last to arrive. "Look, I hate to be the one to say this, but everyone needs to prepare."

"For what?" Diego looked the most out of place in the colorful building with his dark clothes and leather, not to mention the knives.

"To do whatever it takes to stop Vanya."

Luther's declaration was immediately protested by Allison, hitting his chest with her notepad. Since she couldn't talk after the damage to her vocal chords, it was her most reliable form of communication.

Luther sighed. "We may not have a choice, Allison."

"Bullshit. There's always options." Diego sided with his sister.

Five spoke up as Klaus pulled out a newspaper which had been stashed away next to him. "Yeah, like what?"

"I don't know."

"Look," Luther stood. "whatever we decide, we need to find Vanya. And fast, okay? She could be anywhere."

Five looked to Hypatia, remembering how she'd felt what was happening at the Academy. "Could you help with that?"

"No, by the time I figured out where she was, it would be too late." She replied.

"She could be here." Klaus jumped in, newspaper folded open. "Look at this." Leaning forward for everyone to crowd around, he revealed an ad in the center of a page, Vanya's face front and center.

"That's right. Her concert is tonight." Diego explained.

"Hello." A staff member appeared, voice forcibly pleasant. "I hate to intrude, but my manager says that now that your whole party's here if you're not going to bowl, you gotta leave."

As she walked away, and angry looking man at the counter, presumably said manager, made his point by slamming down a pair of shoes.

"Oh, for..." Luther picked up a bowling ball and half heartedly threw it, incredible strength sending it across several lanes before crashing into the pins of the birthday party's lane.

Allison wrote on her notepad, tapping at it furiously to get her brothers attention. 'She's our sister.'

"We're the only ones capable of stopping this." Luther tried convincing her. "We have a responsibility to Dad."

"To Dad?"Diego was furious. "No, I've heard enough about-"

"He sacrificed everything to bring us back together."
