"Okay, I'm out." Luther pushed himself out of his seat with a heavy sigh.

Five gawked. "Did you even hear me Luther?"

"Yeah. Yeah, I did." The larger man nodded. "I heard a 58-year-old man who still wants his daddy to come and fix everything. Well, you can count me out. It's time we all grew the hell up."

He turned oh his heel and stormed towards the stairs, despite the protests that came from the others in the room. Diego tried to grab the man's wrist but was quickly shaken off by the much stronger man.

Five spacial jumped in front of Luther, blocking his way down the stairs. Glaring up at the man in front of him, he spoke through gritted teeth. "No one leaves until we figure this out."

With a sigh, Luther reached down, grabbing Five by the front of his shirt and tossing him over the railing, Five just barely teleporting away before hitting the ground. Luther continued out the door, Diego following close behind.

"Someone should go after them, shouldn't they?" Vanya quietly spoke up.

"Nah, they'll be fine." Klaus dismissed, stretching lazily.

"You can't just ignore your problems, Klaus." Allison argued.

"Yeah, but they fight all the time. They'll be fine."

Hypatia sighed at the apprehensive looks on the sisters faces, rising from her seat. ""I'll go make sure it didn't turn into a brawl out there." Waving quick goodbyes to the others she made her way down the staircase and out the door.

By the time she burst through the doors the street was empty, not a single sign of Five or his brothers. What she did see, however, was the ghost of the past that had been haunting her as of late.

Director Somnus stood in the middle of the street, waiting. The haunted quality still clung to him like wet paint.

"Hypatia. Can we speak?"

"What do you want? Wasn't trying to kill me enough?" She responded coldly, guard up and muscles tense.

"...Can we not speak here?"

"I think right here will do just fine."

He narrowed his eyes at her. "I won't be trying the same tactic as before, I can assure you of that."

"You tried very hard to kill me!" She scoffed at the lax way he described it.

"Death is safer than the monstrosity living out there. I was doing you a favor." He earnestly spoke.

"That's not for you to decide. I really don't mean to keep bringing this up, but you tried to kill me. Sorry if that doesn't inspire a whole lot of trust."

He cleared his throat, readjusting his creased suit. "I...apologize. I admit it wasn't the most graceful solution, merely the simplest."

"God, it still kills you to admit you were wrong." She laughed humorlessly. "I guess some things don't change."

"Who do you think is the enemy?" His voice rose for a moment, sending him looking around nervously before lowering his volume. "The Commission? Me? The Handler? Fate? Death? No. The true enemy, is far more subtle with its evil."
