Wednesfay came home from some activities and some work duties and was really overwhelmed and tired and just had a horrible day in general
Enid waited for her as usual
When Wednesday opened the door Enid knew something was up.
" Wednesday? Whast wrong sweetheart?"
Wednesday just plopped beside Enid putting her head immediately on her lovers shoulder
Enid wrapped her arms around Wednesdays upper body just so they where under her shoulders
Wednesday replied with
" i just wana stay like this please "
Enid was concerned but she laid her self down with Wednesdays head in the crook of her neck rubbing her back softly
Enid asked again softly and with a patient gentle voice
" do you wana talk about any thing wends ?"
Wednesday replied in a sort of muffled voice
" I just had a really hard day and I just am really tired from working today "
She rubbed Wednesdays back more but softly
Enid replied
" okay Weds, let's just stay in here for a while okay?"
Wednesday nodded and continued to cuddle Enid and started to fall asleep in her girlfriends arms Enid placed a gentle kiss on her head .
Wendesday woke up and looked tired but more happy, she groaned and yawned
Enid said to ber gently
" have a good nap sleepy head?"
Wednesday nodded grogily and replied
"H-how long was I out for ?"
Enid replied
"2 hours so it's 9 pm now love "
Wednesdsy shifted her head up so she could look at Enid
She gave her a kiss on the cheek in concern and in return to hwo many kisses she had been given.
Enid turned some TV on for them both they watched Netflix as they snuggled closely again talking about eacjothers day and it turned out Wednesday really was just burnt-out
And Enid really did give her a better time to unwind from today's work and activities.
