As Twilight walked outside with Clover and their friends a crowd started to cheer. After celestia's exile DarkMist explained every pony would remember the Dark family the true rulers of Equestria. When they all were outside Darkmist asked Twilight and her friends to step forward.
"These six ponies in front of me stand here today because they have done something amazing. They have helped me defeat Celestia by destroying the gem that kept me in the Bad lands. For their courage and defiance of their so called Princess, I will now reward them greatly," DarkMist said in a loud regal tone.
"Are you ready," DarkMist asked the six ponies.
"Yes," they all answered.
A magic glow enveloped the six ponies. It was so bright that the light could blind a pony. The light slowly faded and they six ponies were set down.
"I feel funny," Rainbow dash said as she rubbed her forehead and touched something.
"We are alicorns," Rarity said in awe.
She was right every one of Twilight's friends either now had a horn, wings, or both. They also were much bigger now about the size of DarkMist.
"This is your reward. What do you think," DarkMist asked the now six alicorn ponies.
"Amazing," they said in unison.
"After all I need some alicorns to start the the rebuilding of the species. I've already started to help ," DarkMist said as she nuzzled her stomach.
Twilight realized that DarkMist was referring that she was pregnant and that was why she acted funny when they first meet her.
"Who's the father," Rarity asked as she walked up and poked DarkMist's belly with a hoof.
"I'am," said a male voice that was cheery.
Twilight looked at the stallion, he was an alicorn. His coat was black and he had white hair with holes in it. His cutie mark was a star with wings, Twilight didn't understand it though. His eyes were bright blue and showed happiness and also read of proudness.
"This is Starrling, he is my husband. You haven't seen him in the camp because his job is to raise the stars. And that's what his cutie mark means, it runs in his family. Oh and ever heard of the first unicorn," DarkMist explained and asked.
"Yes, Nyx the first born unicorn who started the species of unicorns and alicorns," Twilight answered.
"Well Starrling's Great, Great, Great, Great, etc. Grandmother is Nyx," DarkMist added.
"Wow that's amazing," Rarity said as she blinked her eyes in the way she does when she's amazed .
About a month had past since Celestia was exiled, and now every pony kind roamed Equestria, from the changlings to dragon ponies. Dark Flame was at peace and worked along side with Aganippe in the royal guard. Luna had taken up the job of both the sun and moon and was still considered a princess. Cadence was still a princess too and Shining Armour her prince. Discord was freed and allowed to have his part of Equestria back. Even Chrysalis was allowed to live in the castle.
Twilight and her friends got the population of alicorns up with volunteers to become alicorns. But each of the mane six continued their normal lives, but DarkMist had told them she would still need them at times. Clover and the others came to live in Pony Ville and helped the mane six out with a lot with things. DarkMist was far off on the birth of her babies, but that's another story to tell........
