The Decision
-------------------------------------------
I sat at my desk in disbelief. I didn't want to think that this letter would come, but it did. Now, I think to myself, I have to tell my people I couldn't them keep out of harm's way. Techno must have left hours ago because I hear a knock on my door.

"Tommy? You alright kid?" Techno says, he sounds... worried?

I don't answer. I can't answer. I have no idea what to say to him. I have nothing to say to him actually.

"I'm fine, go away!" I yell. I felt my voice crack, and that how I knew I just shouldn't talk, it will only make things worse.

"Tom. Your people have heard the news. They want answers." He speaks.

I don't say a word. I have dismissed him; he should have left. I think after about 10 minutes of no response he figures out that I'm not going to talk.

I hear him slump down against the door.

"I'm here when you need me Tommy." He states, sounding worn out.

"Thanks.." I loudly mumble

"No problem, Toms."

[New pov, you'll figure out who it is :) ]

----------------------------------------

I look out my cabin window, waiting for my son to come back with his mother from the market.

I just received word that Karma has officially declared war on L'Manberg.

I see my son running towards the door. My wife is following slowly behind.

I pick up my son and hug him. My wife walks past me, with a quick peck on the cheek, and walks into the kitchen with a few groceries.

I put my son down. He runs toward his mother, and she picks him up and starts to prepare food.

He reminds me so much of Tommy.

[Techno's pov]

----------------------------------------

I must have fallen asleep at some point upon laying up against Tommy's door because I'm shook awake by Tommy's personal guard, one of the only ones that I get along with, Ranboo.

"Are you alright General?" They ask.

"I'm fine Ran, I was just..worried about Tom." I say.

"Worried? Wow, something must be really wrong for you to be worried!" He says jokingly.

I just glare at them. He shutters at my stare. Then they knock on Tommy's door, no answer. A second time. Nothing. A third..

Nothing.

"Your highness, it's me, Ranboo. Sir, the council is requesting your presence." They say.

"The council?" We finally hear a shaky voice from inside the door.

"Yes, the council, your highness." Ranboo confirms.

"I'll be out..j-just give me a m-minute."

"Yes sir." Ran says and takes their post outside of Tommy's office door.

I start to stand up, but Ran holds his hand out for me and I gladly take it as he pulls me up.

----------------------------------------

After about 5 minutes Tommy comes out of his office.

He looks like a total wreck. He has tear stains down his face, he is sniffling and looks like he's on the verge of another break down. He looks like he's about to snap, echo the voices in my head.
