Love as a Mother for Another (mlp fanfic w/ocs ponies)

Rarity was stoking up on gems today and had decided to take Spike with her so he could dig for the gems instead of her. So far they had a large pile but were aiming for more. Rarity's horn was telling that there some gems in a small cave and that there were a lot. So she went with Spike to get them. As they entered the cave they could here a light breathing coming from behind a large rock in the cave. They cautiously walked towards the rock. Rarity stopped and said "Be careful Spike it could be dangerous ."

"It's just a filly," Spike said as he peaked around the rock.

"A filly, what is she doing in here," Rarity asked.

"I don't know, but she looks lost and hungry," Spike answered.

"Let's take her to my house," Rarity said as she took a look at the filly.

She was white coated and her hair was strange and was light pink, pink, and red. Her hind legs were oddly sticking farther out, and her front legs were closer to her rib cage then in the normal spot for a pony. She also had little things sticking out of her chest. The foal had no cutie mark either and Rarity could see a small sharp tooth sticking out of the fillies mouth. 

Rarity stepped closer to the filly and nudged her. She opened and looked at Rarity and smiled weakly before closing her eyes again.

"Come on Spike lets take her to Pony Ville," Rarity said as she levitated the filly gently.

They had brought the filly to Rarity's house in Pony Ville. So now the filly is sitting on Rarity's bed in a few blankets to keep her warm. Rarity had tried to feed the filly but she had refused everything that she offered. So finally Rarity gave up and let the filly sleep until Twilight came to see the filly.

"Oh hi Twilight, glad you could come," said rarity as she opened the front door for the lavender unicorn.

"Where is this filly you had Spike send me here for," Twilight asked.

"In my room, this way," Rarity responded as she led Twilight to her room.

When Rarity showed Twilight the filly, the lavender mare nearly fainted at the sight of the filly. Twilight frantically looked through the books on ponies she had but none held the description of the filly's looks. 

"What is she," rarity asked as she looked over to the filly who was fast asleep wrapped in fuzzy blankets.

"I don't know," Twilight admitted.

"But i'am sure Zecora knows," Twilght said as she repacked er books.

"We will go see her tomarrow, its to dark to travel now," Twilight said as she took a last look at the filly before leaving.

Rarity made sure the filly was comfortable before going to bed in her guest room.

The next morning Rarity awoke to find the strange filly in her face watching her. Rarity jumped.

"AHHH..... You scared me," Rarity said as she calmed down.

Since the filly was wide awake Rarity decided to ask her some questions.

"What is you name," Rarity asked first as she made the bed.

The filly spoke in a strange language Rarity did not understand.

"I'am sorry i can't understand," Rarity said as she looked at the filly puzzled.

"I don't have one," the filly stated in a gloomy voice as she watched Rarity with bright golden eyes.

"Do you want.. me to name you," Rarity ask hesitantly.

the filly nodded slowly.

"Ok how about..... Rosey," Rarity said.

The filly shook her head no.

"What about Royal Rose," Rarity asked because the filly was the color of roses.

"Yes Yes Yes," the filly said as she hopped up and onto Rarity's back.

"Then Royal Rose it is," Rarity said as she hugged Royal Rose tightly.

Rarity knew this had to be the beginning of something..... something special........................
