Chapter 1

The smell of rainwater mixed with soil always amazes her in an unexplainable way. Sarah always likes to enjoy her own company as if she had been lonely her entire life but that's not the truth.

It's already midnight and Sarah is still awake, sitting on the terrace, enjoying the rain while writing in her diary.
"I wish life wasn't this difficult to live. I wish to go somewhere far and never come back. This place frightens me a lot. I don't wanna live here anymore."

She is distracted by the loud noise of thunder which scares her a little bit. The rain starts to pour rapidly, she then closes her diary and head inside. The rain always brings back many memories from the past which Sarah probably doesn't want to remember.

Sarah is still struggling to cope with the pain of her breakup. The man she loved with all her heart, the man for whom she did everything even in the worst situations even when she would feel uncomfortable but she didn't care about herself because she was in love and all she could care about was Adam, he came into her life and helped her escape the dark realities.

She wasn't interested in relationships or commitments at all but he made her want to fall in love again, he reassured her that he is not like the other guys who can easily cheat on their girls without any regret. He would do things for her which would make her heart flutter without her knowing about it.

Now that she looks at the past all she could say is,
"Such a fool you were Sarah and such a bastard he was."

After three months of dating, Sarah found out that her beloved boyfriend, Adam is cheating on her with four more girls. She then decided to leave him for good and made a promise with herself,"No matter what happens, I will never allow my heart to love anyone again."
